Anyone have or ever fitted Nankang NS-II ultrasports?

The image posted earlier in the thread is a different variant of NS2 (Sportnex) I believe. These are Ultrasports. I'm running them on my car now. Imprezaworks: The £37 quoted is in the size above, is correct for the Ultrasports, as they are in the picture on Camskills site.

Anyone have or ever fitted Nankang NS-II ultrasports?

Got them on my Clio. Never had a problem. All this rubbish about poverty spec, ditch finders. If you drive like a t**t in poor conditions then you've only got yourself to blame. Had them on for about 4000 miles now and had no issues - rain, snow, or in the dry. Then again, I'm not hooning...

    My MK3 TCE.........

Depends on your mechanical knowledge. The rears are very simple. Jack up both sides, put axle stands in place. Then 1 side at a time, put jack under the trailing arm, as you unbolt the lower shock bolt, lower the jack down as the hub, etc, will drop. Springs can be a tight squeeze to get out and...

    MK 2 wheels

Link doesn't work as you can't link from your own pc. Upload them to Photobucket or similar. As for the insurance, I wouldn't suggest misleading them about the wheels personally. Check here for other Renault fitments: http://www.alloyguide.com/Renault.php

    MK3 Clio from Sarajevo

Nice car. i also went from a Vectra to a Clio! :) The vent surrounds should pop off. They're tight, but carefully pry them off and you should be able to get to the vent.

Ap coilovers Mk3 - rear washer

    Custom Braided Lines, Who?

Always used HEL Performance in the past for my motorbikes and car. However, they're based down deepest, darkest Devon (Exeter way).

    Top Strut Mount Kits

Oh right, haha! Hello mate! If it's just a penny washer, say, you can get them online, B&Q, Halfords, etc. Like here for example: http://www.qvsdirect.com/M10-Penny-Washers-10mm-pr-19175.html

    Top Strut Mount Kits

For the Rear shocks? I did ask Adam, but they only come with the shocks. I'm going to measure mine up though when I take them off to drill them out, and then see about getting some made up for the new dimensions. (Not sure if it's the same for MK2's, but this will be on a MK3 with AP coilovers...

    Insurance is rubbish!

Yeah, I just simplified it. ;) To the OP, save your money. Insurance is bad enough as it is. I've waited till now to do any serious modifications to any car, and I'm 29!

    Insurance is rubbish!

Failure to declare, and getting into an accident will quite possibly invalidate the insurance, meaning the driver can then be done for driving without (valid) insurance.

Coolio. Yeah, I saw that too about drilling out the washer. Gonna have to speak nicely to a neighbour I think! Brisa: I've had mine just under a year now. I'm averaging about 55mpg. That's mostly commuting through main road and town/ villages, 20 mile round trip daily. Then whatever I do at...

    JP's Mk3 Dci 86

This weekend's job! Out of interest, not done the rear shocks on these Mk3's before. They easy to get out? Can't believe Renault designed the fronts to sit under a scuttle panel, that needs the wiper blades taking off!

Vibration from Engine after fitting dogbone bush !!!

Used to get this when fitting poly bushes to V6 Vectra engines. As the polybush mount is stiffer, you feel more vibration through the car, as the engine doesn't have as much room to "move" under load, like it does on a standard rubber bush. Get it checked out, but if it's fitted correctly, I'd...
