I like them, the colour and wheels go well together. Love them bbs wheels on them, so much so i bought a set ages ago but had to sell them on unfortunately before ever fitting them.
Like the fact that they only did a run of 172, not we've sold them so we will up it to 500 etc to make more brass.
Can get half decent ones on amazon for a few quid. As said you will see the difference.
May be obvious, but check if your xbox has an hdmi out as iirc some of the early ones didn't.
I've used paisley freights 3 or 4 times to send and collect alloys and around £28 always been spot on. Majority of them are Monday to Friday 8-6 unfortunately.
Does sound like battery, the little clock in centre of dash will be flashing or keep resetting itself. Check when you first get in on a morning.
You can get a good quality Bosch for circa £50
Anybody got an update on this please? ie is the Apple adapter the only one that supports audio atm
Got my black 16gb last week and very happy with it. Seems much faster/slicker when using it then my 4 that its replaced.
cheers
George
Looks miles cleaner now mate.
As said get some silver vision indicator bulbs.
A lot of people get a 3/4 or smaller front plate so that it doesn't overhang over the lower grill. Looks better as it doesn't break the "lines" of the bumper.
Keep up the good work
There was a lad selling a set of Brembo calipers in the for sale section that come with brackets etc to fit with the standard 172/182 280mm front discs iirc.
"Swede cup" or similar
Lovely car, nice change from the black and silvers ones. Enjoy it, they look and sound fantastic. :approve:
I've been lucky enough to lend one of these and also the valante version for odd weekends. Awesome cars, everyone loves an Aston.
This might have been Dan (Gee man). He lives near there and goes to the ring in it.
He also has a set of Cup turinis with tyres for sale soon, if any of the local lads are interested.
I'd avoid the one at the dealers that going to cost you £££ in near future.
As said get yourself to Bristol and have a look at the tidy one Daniel is selling.
^ Good advice that
You have got yourself a decent handling hot hatch, don't put part worn/ditch finders on it mate. Just save until you can afford decent tyres (if your current ones have life in them obviously).
I used Conti sport contact 2 and Mich pe2 on my 172 and both very good tyres...
Welcome mate,
Guessing you're local ish.
Yes the belt change will be cheaper on a 172 Cup (with no air con). Intervals are cambelt 5 years/72k and aux belt 3years/36k. Take it to someone who knows these cars, look in the Traders section and see who is local ish to you. Will be around £300...
You won't go wrong with the ATE Superblue Martin, been using it a few years myself with no problems. As said easy to change with colour of it aswel.
That's cheap that link Ben posted.
