Yeah they are. Your current Cup units can be adjusted using the wheel in the car. The xenons can't as they're self levelling taking a reading from the rear axle of the car on a FF version. Could always swap them over come MOT time but will probably be fine anyway.
Headlight washers (although cars built with xenons should have them) not being present aren't an MOT fail. If they're there though and don't work they are a fail. Asked my MOT tester friend a while back on this. You might have issues with levelling them though.
Although my experience is in front wheels drive for a comparison, the supercharger kept more of the NA feel just more powerful. Turbo is a little harder to control wheelspin due to the way the torque comes in. The T5 in my Focus was particularly torquey though. Sure you'll have fun with either.
Don't think I'd even heard of Tiger before today but this is the second one I've read about tonight strangely enough.
A friend (formerly of this forum) raves about his supercharged MX-5, sure it'd be a riot in something of this weight.
I rarely venture into this section and today reminded me why. Just taken the Gordini stripes off the wife's 182 and wanted some advice on removing the glue. From doing a search some useful info came up and it made the job slightly easier. Thanks guys.
However, I now have a rekindled hatred for...
I've driven past it today, it's on the car wash forecourt. With how long it's been stood it'll need belts and more, reckon it's worth about £1,000 depending on overall condition.
Worked for Peugeot selling these a few years ago. Not a bad car, nowhere near as focussed as the RenaultSport offerings but I like them. Engine performs well despite being susceptible to a few niggles. Would like a drive of one with the handling tweaked, bet it could be a weapon properly set up...
I was going to go try and buy it off him but hadn't got round to going. I saw it had moved and been cleaned a few weeks ago after being stood for years but isn't there now. He wasn't after much for it I heard. It didn't have Cup suspension either and looked to have non-standard front grills.
In addition to the stripes going from the 182 this weekend, I've now fitted the spacers to the 172 ready for the bigger brakes. Stance looks much better although the car still rides pretty high. Shocks are due changing so will probably look at the springs around a similar time. I'd go for...
Not much done since my last update. Still waiting for parts (and more money) to sort the Brembos on the 172, spacers arrive today, pads and pins need ordering, then it's a case of getting the stuff to SC Autos in Bolton.
The 182 has had a slight change. The wife caved in to the majority...
