B+ direct to LED. 3 position switch for ground: leave 1 blank, 1 to common ground and the other to the interior light switched ground. That way you have off/on/interior switched.
it can't be done with that unit (5.1), you will only be able to get stereo from the TV by connecting the headphone out socket from the TV to the LG. Alternatively, connect the Skybox analogue output to the analogue inputs (not sure if you have a skybox). TBH I would be throwing that in the bin...
Not sure what your talking about here. According to the website, the LG has:AUX input
Portable 3.5mm jack inout
HDMI Out
HDMI In
USB
Composite Out
Component Out
Digital (optical) input
yep.
what doesn't accept HDMI? the LG should have 2 HDMI inputs and 1 HDMI output. Unless I'm looking at...
tv optical out > optical in on the LG. Switch LG to the optical input. if your getting it from a sky box,
Skybox > LG unit via HDMI input > TV via HDMI output.
In no situation should you be using 'scart' as that is SD not HD.
Going that far along, do you think he might as well drop in some forged rods/uprated bolts and increase the pressure a bit to raise the bhp to near 300? what sort of price difference would that incur?
Im pretty sure 'buy another car' is not the discussion he was after. What he has asked for is more than possible, yet some on here are acting like its insane to even think of such a thing! If he has the money to do it and want the 182 as his base car, then 'buy another car' is a bit irrelevant.
lol @ some of the negative posts on here. He wanted a 182, he has a 182. He wants it to go fast in a straight line. Its not impossible! The 182 is fairly quick in a straight line anyway for its class, with a lot of weight saving and ITB's/RS2 I think you could pull those figures easy for under 2K.
I think you could get close to those figures if you strip it. Loose everything you don't need; rear seats, all internal trim, ac, power steering, smaller battery decat etc. drill a s**t load of holes in the hidden panels to save a bit more and put it on 14s/15s. save even more weight by adding...
yeah me & the mrs dropped in for a short while, had a look around all the cars, then got bored so went to do something else lol. The clio next to yours was a right state (cf wrapped bonnet with a dent in it), surprised he bothered to enter that! Must have come last place lol. Didn't know you...
my 182 has better mpg than my 1.2 8v. No way your tank is full at £45 from empty. Our 1.2 TCE takes about £70 from empty and my 182 & mk1 take about the same tbh (a little bit less).
I'm hopping on a plane right now, make sure you have both keys ready :D lol.
That's something I would actually like to do - drive to Scotland, following the coast as much as possible. Been saying it for years but never had the time or money to execute it :( Maybe this year :)
p.s, I think it...
MarcR I also think you should scrap it. Every mod on that car is gash. Its not worth anything to anyone. Tell you what, I will help you out a bit by talking it off your hands and dealing with it myself, how's that sound? :p
nah in all seriousness, a nice trophy project. Wasn't sure on the...
I had a bog bore on my Mk1 1.2, did (and still does) sound nice! Was mild steal though so rusty as hell now will lots of patch up jobs! Obviously not a problem with the stainless.
