Does fitting the brembo's actually make much difference? I would have expected them to want to make the wheel lock up more due the braking ability and thus increase the intervention of the ABS? Obviously without ABS I would expect to feel a huge difference, do you have ABS? regardless of that...

it wont be the throttle body if its got a misfire code logged. More than likely an injector, coil pack, spark plug or HT cable.
