ChatGPT: We've created the most powerful AI to have ever graced the earth. Its capabilities are almost limitless.
CS: Heres a rhyme about a man pleasuring himself with driving gloves.
Snapped up a new product to me on Detailingworld.
SiRamik Lustrous Graphine Spray Sealant.
Reports on there are bonkers. Spray, level with a damp mf towel, buff and then 12+ months of insane beading.
Really excited to give it a go on the BM. I dont get time to do my own car often now as im...
Fusso sounds similar, application wise, to the Infinity Wax Synergy Wax I have. Utter b**ch to use but lasts forever and looks good. Acts like a ceramic too in regards to water.
Only issue is, it stinks to high heaven
I only had Megs Polish and Compound at the time I think. Compound was the go to, as well as the heaviest cut cone I had at the time. Worked pretty well considering but if youre shooting for perfection, the only logical solution seems to be these 1 inch micro polishers which are almost as much as...
I find wheels a proper PITA.
I eventually ended up using some foam cone polishers I picked up cheap off ebay which attached to a drill.
Usual method - start light (in terms of cut) and work your way up. Turns out, the clearcoat on BMW wheels is just as hard as on the paint itself 🤣
I dont mind the graft, I quite enjoy the therapy of it (im weird, I know).
Garage is the only question at the moment. But I think I might have a solution for that - my garage currently has some rubbish ford in it 🤣.
Just looking at a local company to me:
New Cars (sub 1000 miles) for the...
After some pricing advice really.
A really good family friend has approached me about coating their new cars - a Tesla Model Y and a new Defender (the commercial one). The Tesla is new so shouldnt need much correcting but the defender will definitely need it.
Theyre really good friends so I...
O2 used to be pretty good with deals. Like you, ive been with them forever. Recently though, they had begun to take the piss. I was on some ridiculous data plan (200gb?!) and unlimited everything else - was £20/month iirc. It then just kept going up, 25, then 30. Recently the wife pointed out it...
My s20 had one too. Need to get one ordered actually. Phones always in and out of my pocket for work and I get weird about scratches so ill get on amazon
So the 'Tornado Blaster' thingy I bought - utter shite.
Air leaks through the end without even touching the trigger and the inner tube (that seemingly makes the 'tornado') shot off at a million mph into the dashboard of a near brand new porsche i was working on. Wont stay on at all now. Emailed...
Ive honestly got to the place where im so overwhelmed with ChatGPT that I dont even know what to ask it.
I love the f**king poems that @Hixle has, and some other people have generated some really amazing stuff with it.
Its a bit like when you get to the supermarket and are so confused by...
Polar seal, having tried multiple others, is still up there for me. Wish I hadnt bought 5L of the CarChem one but it was 5L for the same price as the 500ml of Polar Seal I was going to buy. Plus, the quicker the LSP wears off, the quicker people come back to me for another wash 🤣 💰💰💰
I had no idea that it 'learns'! Cool, but kinda creepy 🤣.
Thanks for the app tip. I'll download it now!
Also done a full day (albeit with a bit of charging in the car) and I'm at 64%. My old phone would have died twice by now 🤣
Cheers guys! Got a cheapy one off ebay on its way.
If its a good system but crap product, AS do one thats about 50 quid but it will pay for itself in no time.
So do you guys just use it dry or put product in the canister? I see for something like an engine bay, having some mild apc would work...
I cant speak of the QL stuff as I went for Mous but apparently theyre similar.
Honestly, its no bigger (with the cases on) than my Note 20. Its almost comically similar tbh. The S23 Ultra is definitely thicker though (giggidy)
Its battery life im most interested in but only time will tell....
Twins!
Agree on all fronts. My Note 20 was half full (500gb I think?), mostly due to work stuff. Everything will be backed up to my one drive so no real need to transfer the gazillion pictures on there to the new one. But, holy bejesus, it's waaay better.
Happy with the upgrade!
And the Mous...
Yeah, the last time I did it it was pretty quick! This time, not at all!
I did cancel it (thinking it had got stuck) and when I tried again I noticed the cable option. No cigar there either as my old charging port is so iffy it only reads the cable once in every 10 tries. Its half the reason I...
Those of you doing the transfer thingy - Is yours taking 400 years?!
Yeah, its easy and all just hitting 'Transfer' but now both mobiles are just sat there doing seemingly nothing. Its driving me beserk!
