I had initially planned on using it to teach me how to use Excel for work (some of the more complex stuff). Although the need has somewhat passed, I think I might give it a bash with some forecasting I need to do.
Nerdy s**t!
Hi chaps!
Ive decided to upgrade my work pc with some more storage, probably a 1TB M.2. It has 1 M.2 slot which is taken up with a 500gb (nowhere near enough).
Would this do the trick to then add another storage stick (technical term)...
Having been a nerd in a previous life, I keep as up to date with new tech as possible.
Over the last few weeks/months, I have been made aware of a new AI software that is quite literally blowing my relatively non-nerdy little brain.
ChatGPT.
Now, ill rely on those of you far more in the know...
Honestly, I couldnt tell the difference between them so its all fine for me.
I do have a trade account with TP's and Howdens so that also works if required.
Ill get a bit better at it and then start buying better stuff
tbh mate i just ordered that exact one and its already at home lols. Praise the lord for Screwfix click and collect!
Its heavy enough that it should do what I need it to do. As I said, once I have a bit more time, ill just mash some bits of wood together, bolt them to the bottom of the press...
Thats exactly the kind of thing I had in my head.
The large holes would be handy too as I could rig up some nuts and bolts to have it nicely secured down.
The only seemingly minor issue I would have would be heights. None of my bits are very long and the 'press' doesnt come down so far. So, I...
So, yeah, blade is also decent :ROFLMAO:. Kerrrching!
On a side note, chaps, my press drill.
Its missing the 'clamp?' things that hold what youre drilling (lol) in place.
Are there universal ones or is it just a case of buying the right ones/making something?
ill leave my flooring guys for cutting that up :ROFLMAO:
Basically the oven can only fit finger like bits in but I keep robbing whole logs off my dad. Ill split them down to a reasonable size but then I can just run them through the chop saw and it should be fine. They wont be huge.
I just...
Ah, amazing!
Im gonna watch a couple of videos but also bring my mate whos a chippy by trade round so he can teach me how not to cut my hands off....
I literally only bought it because I wanted to be able to cut some oak logs down to make them fit in my Pizza oven :ROFLMAO:
Now, im like...
yay! Ive been looking at it (from the picture I took cos im at work) and it slides the whole blade backwards and forwards too?!
Ive honestly never owned something so manly. Im scared but also excited.
I really fancy building a picture frame but I think first im going to build some basic timber...
Ive got someone I know that does clearance/removal work a lot. He does all sorts and picks up all sorts.
He recently cleared a works unit belonging to a carpenter. Was meant to be clean and tidy - it wasnt. So he took a lot of the tools as payment (all agreed before hand) and I caught wind he...
Not really tbh. Its like most things, just gotta keep on top of them.
Once in a while, or if I get a really dirty set of wheels to clean, ill give them a spray down with some strong APC, let them soak and then gently blast them with the pressure washer to get all the crud out
I honestly use the Meguiars ones. The fluffy (MF?) ones. Theyre really good and you can properly load them up with suds.
I have the large and small ones. Small is ace for my car (big disks cos racecar) and you can squeeze it between the disk and barrel.
Having done a bit of research on this, most would call it 'Stage 2+/Stage2+E'. Yeah, I know, I hate the whole Stage 99.765 too.
In short, its a decat/sports cat, upgraded fuel pump and then a map. He may or may not also have a flex fuel sensor to detect ethanol content but thats secondary...
haha!
I keep being like 'oh s**t, did i trash my rears at Brands?' then I check them and theyre fine. Then I remember how bloody cold its getting :ROFLMAO:
Never use anything too caustic/acidic on my own wheels as theyre nearly always coated!
Like I say, ive got a whole spare set of wheels and tyres so i can swap them over whenever really. I should do it before it gets too shitty out tbh.
Only problem is, I did a Detail on a Jag for a friend...
Ah, okay. Not just me then!
I got less but then again I wasnt topping up with anything so thats probably why. I might pull them off, old wheels on, and give them another coating.
I fancy giving the KKD Revolve a go this time as apparently it lasts a fair bit longer
TBH, on the wheel 'sealant' front, I havent found much to work for any real period of time on wheels.
C4/C5 doesnt last on my wheels for that long, all properly done too. They were freshly painted aswell so no risk of contamination. Shame really as when theyre coated theyre a breeze to clean!
oh, you got one too!
Well, now i dont feel so special :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
Im stocking up.
5L Iron Decon
5L screenwash
5L Suds Shampoo
5L deicer (£7.60!)
and now just deciding if i need anything else
no mate.
Weirdly, i just got an email with a code and thats it - I was in.
Not sure if its linked to me personally but if you want anything and dont have a code, youre welcome to use mine (as long as it doesnt charge me lols)
Oh! Carchem BF deal just dropped.
I thought I wouldnt apply due to the silly 'trade only thing now' but I just got an email.
5L of Iron detox for £16.50 LOL
Worth waiting for!
thats the stuff i was looking at, i saw you post about it i think but by the time i got there I was too late and it had gone back up
Ill keep an eye out
If anyone spots any decent deals on Fallout remover - hmu.
Carchem's ebay page is doing 5L for £23.00 inc postage which i thought was very reasonable?
Also, theyve changed to trade only now which is a pisser as their old deals were incredible. not sure i like their sister company stuff (VP) as...
