Looks like a 1.2?
Anywhoo, not a chance, you'd need to be in 4th gear @ 90mph.
As for the 1.1i saxo keeping up, maybe hold a 1.4RT upto 40mph but after that the Clio should pull away.
And finally, 120? I think those wheels have f*cked their speedo's.
ok, this is hard to achieve with smaller sensor cameras, you need to stand back from your subject and zoom in a fair amount. Then set the camera to aperture priority and shoot the lowest f/number possible. Would also help to distance the subject from its back ground... see if any of that...
Oms, that's a fantastic second hand price for a lens.!

As for dust, a medium or large giotto rocket blower will sort that out.
On board flash is never going to be a great, the pro SLR models don't even bother having it. A powerful flash that you can bounce and swivel opens a whole new world! But I'd wait a while from getting into the SLR world before upgrading the flash...
ukaskew I know what you mean, my mates loves it purely for the pictures I take before we go out alone. Also on the flash (SB 400), just had a look and you'll be kicking yourself if you don't buy something that can swivel and be bounced!

If your shooting low light I think a DSLR is probably the best route, using the right gear of course. Saying that I'm sure the f50 is capable, just takes practice.. although if you do send it back:
I'd suggest this as a great starter kit.

As far as I know the D50 will work with more lenses like the 50mm f/1.8 which is a budget gem!
Also the D40 has loooads of pointless auto modes.
Goto a shop and see which one feels better in your hands, if you prefer the smaller D40 get that and vice versa..
Canon 400D or Nikon D80
I don't trust Sony and lenses etc are generally more expensive at a glance. Remember your buying into a system and if you plan to upgrade glass is very important.
