Drive faster and speed up the shutter, say half a second, lots of movement and less camera vibration...

Currently running a nvidia Geforce 5500 FX, which retails for around £30 now a days, looking at spending 60-100 so I presume I'll see an improvement. Have no idea about graphics cards! Any recommendations, current card has a little sticker saying 'AGP CARD' on it, if that means anything...

How good a camera do you want, I'm sure it'll be fine to just take random snaps of people etc. and looks like its got a huge screen. With point and shoot cameras I'd just make sure you get one with its own battery (AA batteries are a pain). Then the biggest optical zoom, X3 should be ok...

You'd get half a decent lens let alone a DSLR! :clown: Unless you want to spend 4-5 times that I'd stick to a DSLR-a-like, something like the Canon S3 IS or a lumix Fz50 with 12x optical zoom. So it seems you already have one!
