Its beneficial, but like i've said, i've not seen any great work from others. The head comes CNC'ed from the factory. The great part about this is repeatability between all the heads that come out of the factory, irrespective of casting. The bad part is that renault didnt get the design quite...
i dont think thats the arguement at all, i think its about whether running the valve on the std box makes a difference at all, in which case i say...no.
I dont see a point removing it as it is open when your at low manifold vacuum, and it takes a significant amount of vacuum to close it...

All F1 cam design will be in house, they will either me made inhouse aswell or if made outhouse, confidentiality agreements not to use the technology for 'x' number of years. All design will be done inhouse.

Depends on the level of headwork you want, i cater for several different setups and you can modify to include plans for future mods.
I dont do an 'off the shelf' head, it implies that its not as good as it should be.
Top pic, the brass small tube sticking out, put a hose on that and connect it to one of the vacuum take offs on the inlet manifold.
The bottom pic, the larger hole connect to one of the boost pipes BEFORE the throttle body. It does look like its missing a hose, but that is nothing hard to...
