You can get gasket material spray to clean it off.
Then check with a precision edge to see if its flat.
If its not, a precision edge with 1200 wet&dry, be gentle and stop & check often, you dont have to do too much.
Low points will be evident withing seconds, and if its flat, it will...
The cup has one, a mechanical one unlike the full fats.
However it is not linked to the axle and is 'set' from the factory, in essence its not load sensing.
Larger valves without substantial work is useless.
For a start the chambers are already highly shrouding the std valves and unless you like welding and reshaping the chambers i wouldnt bother with large valves until you need it.
yup, prepare for a good time.
Thats if your are replacing the manifolds aswell.
you can do it all i situ, but you will hurt your hands and sped a long time cussing as you remove a million heat sheilds and nuts you cant see.
Dot 5 is silicone, and because it is silicone it absorbs NO water, unlike hydroscopic fluids which are 4 and 5.1.
The problem with silcone is that it isnt that great and water does get into the system, but instead of being homegenised through allt he fluid, it groups together in droplets, and...
Put basically, the engine has been moved along the 'rpm' scale. Its point of peak efficiency has been moved to a higher rpm point, and the modifications are all there to support cylinder filling at higher rpm.
The shorter inlet manifold length with a better plenham design is there to enhance...
Guys, a racing system is a different animal from a road system, or even a sports system.
If you have an exhaust system which compramises of 3 silencers, then remove a centre one and replace with a peice of pipe, there are no real gains. A silencer of perforated tube and fibregass wool is...
Define 'competition' and 'steel'?
The std inlet valves are already EN52B steel, and the exhausts are the same with a 214N stanless head. And the designs of both are not bad.
Are you looking for all stanless valves for any particualr reason, if you are they will have to be custom made, and...
sadly clios arent castor/camber adjustable from std, and neither is rear toe.
All you can adjust without buying aux components is front toe.
but looks like a comprehensive service for those who can use it, and require an operator who knows what he's doing. I have to do my own alignment on...
The std engines will go to high rpm, but will not live up there for long periods, especially in competition use. ARP bolts will not solve the problem and you will move the problem to the piston.
