it mean the problem is on the 3rd cylinder. What you need to do now is check if its the injector or coilpack/ht lead. To do this, remove the fuel rail as described above and sway injector 3 for injector 4. then put it back together and do the same unplugging the electrical connector test again...
be careful when taking off the fuel pipe from the rail, it sprays fuel out like a b**ch sometimes. Put a rag around it to stop it spraying back onto you.
coil pack end. other end is under the manifold. tbh your better off checking the injector first, as pulling the HT lead off wont tell you if its the lead or the injector, but the injector test will.
Checking the injectors is pretty easy; simply unplug the electrical connector for each injector one at a time whilst the engine is running (the electrical connector has a metal bit you push in first, then it just pulls off). Changing an injector is easy as well, unscrew the 2 bolts holding the...
I find they don't hold when going around sharp corners (I,e a short/hard 90 degree corner at anything over 40mph). They also don't perform well off the line.
I found the p-zero's a bit crap on the front as well when driving it hard. On V12's at the mo, equally as s**t if not worse imo. Im trying RS2's next...
Custom? What needs to be customised? is it something I can do?
Yes I backed up, but I restored, the Clio 182 8200_7804_F4R738_RON98_1110 map anyway which works ok.
Done this already, sent it to info@fastchip.nl, hope that's the correct one? Wasn't sure what to send him though as the maps...
Im having trouble flashing the RON98 overrun map on my car, the RON98 map works all ok, but he overrun map give a write verification error and sets my ECU to 0000 0000 (and car wont start).
The files im using are:
Clio 182 EL 1921 8200_7804_Decat_Overrun_RON98_0411
and
Clio 182...
Exactly Dan, unless I am missing something? When I close my bonnet, I pull it up a bit to see if it has any play in it, I assume if it failed, it would simply pull back up a bit to the second catch (which also fails due to rust).
the high pitched wine is just the water pump etc. They all do it. Sounds fine to me. My engine sounds exactly the same and has just produced a strong 180bhp on the rollers standard.
btw I meant here that the 5k kick is not really noticeable anymore. After reading it back, my post could have been read like the difference wasn't really noticeable, which is not the case as it is very noticeable! the comparison startf rom 3k as I believe everything before that is just run-up.
the RSTuner does smooth out the pre-5k dip a bit (its not really noticeable), but as you can see from my side-by-side graphs, it doesn't do anything dramatic.
same graphs overlaid....
the 5k kick is actually the end result of a 4.7k dip. If you look at a rolling road printout you will notice the power drops in the late 4k and then picks up again at around 5k. Some people have got rid of this 'dip' with IK mods & remaps. 182 is the more fun car to drive imo, but the 197's do...
I'm sure someone said they will hit if you don't either adjusting the timing to compensate or cut the slots.
Will be watching closely to see how this goes! Good luck :)
Just found a render of something similar I did when I first started playing with transparency and mirror reflection in Blender...
left sphere and cube are glass.
Quite simply down to costs. I used Maya for free under a student licence when I was at uni for 4 years, but now I'm not in that bracket anymore I was forced to jump ship. I was playing around with the camera tracking tools in Blander the other day, pretty impressive stuff! your ray-tracing...
