Yeah, its not so bad, my old 330ci 5 speeder struggled to get 31, but the 6 speed box is soooo loooooooong its barely ticking over at 80 leptons. And yes, that extra £960 is easily counteracted by a DMF, Turbo, or injector failure.
For me, as i only keep cars for 6 months or so (due to...
Please, please please get that awful filter of death off there asap!! As you can see, god only knows whats being sucked in there ...
Re: the Sachs, BG Motorsport do it, about £500 all in inc. de-pinning from memory. And PMS sell the aircon delete, mine was supplied/fitted by JMS, but not sure...
Man, i hate your thread, keeps making me look at pre-built race cars :dapprove:
Admitedly, this is expensive, but has won the Castle Combe Saloon's for the past 2 years!!
Over 200bhp ATW, from a 1.6 lol
It is yes, the 320d is ok, but i would have prefered to have given away a few mpg's to gain a much broader powerband & more speed. The 320d did my head in in traffic (where i spend a lot of time on the M3 morning commute) as it was just flat as a fart below 2k rpm, the 330ci i have now will pull...
Paid £160 this time (inc. the BMW SOT-060 lead) from Dynamic Sounds, £148 from Handtec previously.
Great system, couldnt live without it now tbh, obviously the handsfree is good, but the iPod integration is fantastic!
To be fair, that was a lot of wonga for a 320, but it looks mint, & has low miles, so c'est la vie. Not everyone scrapes the bottom end of the market like i do .... oh, & sort the swirl flaps, EGR, vortex oil breather asap :)
Bit more than that now ;)
Have done about 6k miles in it since i bought it 12 months ago, 90% of which have been on track!!
Pulls far stronger than the last T on 55k btw.
Will be doing that when the tyres get swopped over. I'm with you, its a bit irritating lol.
Last 330 wasnt too bad tbh. Predictably useless with the TC/DSC on (hence why you see them all parked up in the snow), but switch that off, & they are just as good as any other non-4x4. Over the winter...
Rather boring update, but meh, i like to keep a track of everything ...
New wheel bolts, its the little things ;)
Before:
After:
New BMW badge for the bonnet, couldnt have that damaged now could we.
Before:
After:
And finally, installation of a Parrot Mki9200, note the retro tape...
M3 was a money pit as u bought one that needed an Inspection 2, then sold it at a loss 2 months after buying/servicing it. You plank ;)
Scooby is lovely, if you still wear tracksuits for socialising.
I like these two, purely for the epic combo of manual, nav, harmon kardon, hero interior & 18's!!

Pricey mind.
For me it looks like he was stopped, with the engine running, on the road that crosses the stage, waiting to cross. Hence the wipers came on, etc.
What a wounder though lol.
