On Sportlines & hero wheels:
I also run a Whiteline ARB. The Dampers are currently pinned at OE settings, nowt wrong with the standard positions imho.
In addition, there is nothing wrong with a bit of roll, tells you when your about to start staring out the side window.
lol, no thanks. Manual only. And i never said i didnt want an M3, i said i would prefer to keep the Trophy for the time being ;)
Dont really fancy an e92 tbh, i prefer the overall feel of the e46 and there's also a large difference between £8-13k for an e46/Z4M and £20+ for the V8 ...
Not me ;)
Me :p It snapped whilst halfway through the Pyrenees in 35 degrees heat. Bodged it back together & it worked luverly.
Project is looking good Phil, have you bought some non-sh1t tyres yet?
Had just over 100k on it when i picked it up, now on 101k. Paid £5k on the button. Chap i bought it from paid £7k in February lol ...
Fuel prices = cheap 3.0 BMW's.
Generally in pretty mint condition, owner was on detailingworld so its got no swirls, more polish than I4Detailing, & some weird...
Well, i havent taken any more (as i've been on holiday for 4 weeks of the 5 i've had it), but the previous owner sent me a load prior to me buying it:
:approve:
Right ho, back from Thailand now so been doing some looking into the Dynavin a little more & well, its just seemed a little unfinished to be spending £600 on tbh. The bluetooth connection to the phone doesnt pull up your contacts list apparently, so you still need to use the phone to dial - so...
Tony / Jay = Highrollers ;)
In all seriousness though Nick, at uni i was in & around Motorsport for quite a bit, in fact my housemate raced a fair bit .... hence why i'd been to/driven most of the UK racetracks whilst you lot were still in nappies:rasp:
BTCC - Production Class
Leon Cupra...
FYI, & to the OP.
You buy a 1.2, you take s**t.
You join Cliosport, you take more s**t.
Your post count gets a little higher, you take less s**t.
Till one day you're up in the rarefied atmosphere of Trophy ownership and you've forgotten what s**t even looks like.
Welcome to the layer cake.
Ha ha, thats ones awesome tbh, i considered buying it before they put the M3 engine in it in fact - is a massive build thread on it on bmwowner! Has won a few of the TD Trophy races iirc.
Did it involve some fixing the chassis rail with some rope, a tree & reverse gear? Or have you managed to find another shell?
You need to update your project thread btw ;)
Using a really rare clio 1*2 as a base for a track car!!!? As such, offending many french car loving internet people ... Im proud of u ;)
Good base + cheap cost = winner
