Engine wont start after removing OEM alarm

Yep thats right, the alarm system looks like its been spliced into...the power (red and yellow wires) from engine fuse box and wires running into the doors and hazard lights.

Engine wont start after removing OEM alarm

I can hear something turning on it may well be the pump priming. I read on here that the alarm system was retro fitted when the Cups came into the country The alarm siren houses the alarm ECU, so removing this and all components "should" be ok... Your right though there does not seem to be...

172 Cup Turbo - Track Car

Nice one fella, good work in getting that all done with todays crappy Kent weather. Power figures look good, can only imagine how rapid that thing is in a stripped out Cup.

    172 Cup Track/Fast Road car.

Excellent, will keep an eye out. Im in two minds to cut the gear selector down or to relocate the whole gear shift. Only concern about either is the gear stick hitting the side of the bucket seat in 4th gear as it looks tight.

Re: sonny172cup "track racer project" Cheers Pete, I too talked myself into keeping the heater, but then thought I will go the T7 route, if that fails I will prob end up getting a heated windscreen. Where did you see the bulkhead fittings? Was it on T7designs.com?

sonny172cup "track car to race car project"

Re: sonny172cup "track racer project" Yep the Recaro Pole Positions I had in weight 7kg each, the side frames and mount pushed this up to 9.5kg each. The Revolutions I have in there now are 10kg each without mounts and frames (due to the wrap around design).
