Yep thats right, the alarm system looks like its been spliced into...the power (red and yellow wires) from engine fuse box and wires running into the doors and hazard lights.
I can hear something turning on it may well be the pump priming.
I read on here that the alarm system was retro fitted when the Cups came into the country The alarm siren houses the alarm ECU, so removing this and all components "should" be ok...
Your right though there does not seem to be...
I removed the whole of the oem alarm system (A-pillar sensors, bonnet mech, alarm siren and all wiring) from the track car yesterday and now the car wont start. The engine turns over once or twice but does not fire up. I capped off any exposed wires with heat shrinking tube to eliminate any...

Re: sonny172cup "track racer project"

Where did you see the bulkhead fittings? Was it on T7designs.com?
Re: sonny172cup "track racer project"
Thanks, Ok thats put my mind at rest. It seemed pretty stable, but just waiting on the solid spacers as not keen on the nuts.
Re: sonny172cup "track racer project"
Yep the Recaro Pole Positions I had in weight 7kg each, the side frames and mount pushed this up to 9.5kg each. The Revolutions I have in there now are 10kg each without mounts and frames (due to the wrap around design).
