I took the rear bench out. My full sus Scott fits like a charm with the wheels off :)
I did look into getting a rack, but I didnt have much success. I was told in halfords that my car wasnt suitable!
Yeh, I did want to take more photos, but I did want to crack on and get it finished too! But, like I said, it's the final photos that show all the work ;)
Today my first customer for my machine polishing services came round :)
Quade's 172 Cup looks mint, so we gave it the DA treatment to look even better!
We started at around 9:30, and finished everything just after 6pm! I am knackered lol!
I havent got as many before shots as I'd have liked...
lol, awesome vid!
The spin doesnt seem as dramatic as I remembered it lol! Well held though ;)
Now I'll have to show you how it's done at Bedford! :rasp:
Well actually, for the next shots, I'll have to have someone in the car 'driving it'.
I think the rig shots look a bit too weird with no-one driving lol!
The common deception is that you drive normal speed with the rig on.
But actually, using very long shutter speeds, you drive (or push it!) at walking pace or less.
For rig shots, the slower the car = better pictures!
Are you gonna be detailing the Aston and Fez with little/no experience? If so I would be VERY cautious, I still get a touch nervous doing my car, let alone someone else's Ferrari!!
Id practice LOADS!
^^ I'd be very interested to know what youve found as a substitute for the pinch clamp assembly. At the moment, that's the only thing I need to complete my new rig :)
The superclamps are connected using a custom made 'block' that attaches to a pole which is attached to the suction mounts.
Ive always been fine with a good drying towel. Just make sure you dry all the nooks and crannys like under the wing mirror etc.
A air dryer would cost a lot im guessing :)
How much!!?
I know photographers make a killing at events like that, but I didnt know they charged that much!
I'll do some shots of yours for £10 Jay? ;) :rasp:
Depends where you are planning to get them from :)
On all the gear you are planning on getting, the discount will be quite significant I would have thought!
