Very happy with it all and can add it to some of the other bits and bobs. Just need to get started as i'v got five cars to do and dont have long to get them done.

Black 206 can be done anytime
Old mans Black Focus ST is the worse
Gota do my 182 before The Renault World Tour at Silverstone
DB7 GT before Le Mans
And an old Ferrari so it can be sold

Anyway i do have a question How many cars will the Sonus SFX 1-3 bottles do?

Wow that's some serious kit and a hell of a job you've lined yourself up for lol. Either brave, mad or stupid PMSL.

I'd assume you'd quite easily get 5+ out of them as you don't need a s**t load on the pads. But it would depend on just how badly damaged the paint is and with you be a n00b to machine polishing you're bound to use more than you need to on the first couple of goes, at least I expect to lol.

hhmmmm. noob doin an aston and rarri . . . good luck. I think your better practising on something first tbh. I doubt youll get through all 5 cars with those pads only. Polish - maybe?

The polishes arn't fantastic tbh! You'd will suffice while you learn. As paul says, the pads will last....2 cars max. Softed pads can last a bit longer if used gently and washed well. Pad conditioner to keep them tip top.

Well i'm gona practice on the ST as its just my old mans company car so it wont matter if i mess it up. So what pads and liquids do you guy recomend i buy next? From i4detailing if you can :)

Are you gonna be detailing the Aston and Fez with little/no experience? If so I would be VERY cautious, I still get a touch nervous doing my car, let alone someone else's Ferrari!!

Id practice LOADS!

have you got a paint thickness gauge mate. might be best investing if you're looking at attacking those cars? Give you a better idea about how deep you're polishing. Only on metal I might add, but their the areas you need to keep the protection most.

TBH with a DA it's near on impossible to do damage! Only thing which admittedly happened to me was the disk caught the edge of a spoiler and scratched it. But that was my fault. Nowt to do with polishin.

disagree mate. I went through some paint on a focus once. Admittedly it was near an edge but still possible. Went through so quickly i was amazed. Down to primer

I would be amazed if you take paint off with a orbital, you would be more likely to do as the n00b has said, scratch it with either the machine or a pad accidentally.

The pads definitely won't last those cars. Mine barely last three/four clio's paint work, let alone the audis.

That polish is not great either, so be prepared to go back over yourself again. This will, of course, mean less life from products as well.

One other point; be prepared to buy a shed load more tape!! Like another 5 rolls at least!
