I dont know, it seems like the OP dosnt seem to realise the fuse is not connected to the terminal and is only held in place with the nut. I also can see why he would remove the fuse, if the end has become worn, cut the cable right next to the fuse, strip about 1cm of insulation away from the cut...

pretty sure the fuse block disconnects from the terminal, ie its not one piece.
