    Having trouble fitting the headlamp and connector back into the housing!

    Its a bit of practice you'll work it out it twists but fits on two points just practice and look you'll work it out.

    I've been thinking about getting the exact part numbers for some time but I don't realy have the time and plus its a good idea to chnage the whole arm anyway.

    Its worth a look forget what other experinaces are at this milage I've known them go well over 200k. Just check all the normal weaing stuff at that sort of milage most likly either its been taken real care of and the parts are fine or they ahve been replaced as wear and tear anyway.

    Check the idle control vale is you have a cable throttle . If you don't get a spare throttle body your should likl its broken.

    Stock clutch is fine keep with it. The boxes are all interchangabvle though yep. Forget looking for a better one the 172 is an option but you havn't the power to need it. Forget the quick shift the box is rubish anyway rushing it just wears it.

    Check the abs teeth on the saft plus the cv jointy bottom joint and check you put the shocks back together corret.

    TDC is likly but since you havn't said what car I'd be looking at idle control vavle if you have a manual throttle body more likly.

    tensuioer not tensioning or the belt is jumping check the alternator etc.

    Probbaly the fuel vapor breather valve going easy enought to check on idle get under the car on the drivers side you'll hear it clicking away . 50 of so from renault.# easy enough to chnage.

    Get it done asap. Depends on your view of big its going to be a fortune to get it fixed when it broken but cambelt etc isn't that bad for the work they will do.

    Few Q on 182 Buying

    I'd go for a full fat versio there easier to resale. Height wise your never going to be great I'm 6 6 and its not great,. As for feet depends its not a huge issue the cars one of the best cars for people with big feet in the market realy. I'm a size 16 ish and its fine.

    DIY fitment and cams etc could lead to a fair bit more power spend some more on the internals and you should get decient power but realy for the effort of it your better off getting a bigger engine.

    Different spacing and bolts holes. You cannot get just ball joint for the none rs from renault Your right they do one but its not a 172 part it is for another car just so happens they share the samer party fitment.

    You can just chnage the belt its ben done before but its stupid tensioners are a week issue.

    Oil spotted just under plenum...

    Be careful overtightening or retightneing the bolts you end up rwrecking them.
