Re: Namakubi Clio 172 Cup "track project" Ahh thanks for that, did not know that about the T-connector, will adjust this soon. I thought it had to aim at the feet/foot well area as well, but read that lower torso is/was acceptable. Suppose flame start at the base, so that's the best area...

Re: Namakubi Clio 172 Cup "track project" It is a good weight saving, its not just the cup glass, but all the glue that holds the rears in and the electric motors in the doors that come out too, so its about 5kg in total. I never weighed these items, but a chap on here did (search) and it was...

Re: Namakubi Clio 172 Cup "track project" ***UPDATE*** Finally got round to fitting the fire extinguisher system. You will see I went through the bulkhead above the driver. I have used cable ties for the nozzle spray, this will be swapped over for a metal Bracket, as cable ties are not...

Best way to route pull cable through bulkhead?

Im using bulkhead buns to thread the cable through so will need to drill a new hole anyway. But I will check it out again as I dont remember seeing one.

    Fixing poly windows

The runner rail, is in the ones on the sides, or the metal runner that moves up and down? (door is stripped). Self tapper, so do you drill holes through the window into the runner?

    Fixing poly windows

For those that have fixed poly windows, for the fronts did you bolt in the bottoms from the outside or the inside. Has anyone had any problems with water leaking in through the seals? CheeRS

Best way to route pull cable through bulkhead?

I suppose this is a solution... For those that have fitted a fire extinguisher system (pull cable and 6mm tube), what is the best location/route through the bulk head. I want the pull cable to be above the driver side. I have lifted off the scuttle panel and can see the air blower, to the left...

    Snet 300 Track Pics

Yes, believe it or not, I'm going to increase it to another 4 click towards the harder setting when I get it corner weighted. How many clicks from soft do you run yours at for road and track?

    Snet 300 Track Pics

What settings did you have the suspension on? I fitted and tested mine at Brands last week, and found that 8 clicks from soft was spot on, im guessing this put it into the medium range.

Welcome Nick, glad to hear your feeling ok after your incident at Brands this week. Hope B&K and sort the car out. I had fun on track, was good to have a "burn up" with your track toy. Roll on Ring and Spa. BTW a Cadwell session is being booked for next month.

Driving with a knackered wheel bearing

Personally I think you have a death wish if you continue to drive on it. Trust me it will get worst and when you least expect it, the thing will fail. Im talking from experience. Im driving my stripped out Clio on the M/way, due to the loudness in the cabin I did not hear the symptoms of a...
