Re: Namakubi Clio 172 Cup "track project" Made the most of the nice brake in the weather and got some jobs done. Today I added a Nimbus heat shield to the bulk head, this is to reflect the radiant heat from the exhaust manifold. I had this Nimbus shield left over from a previous project.

Re: Namakubi Clio 172 Cup "track project" As it was a nice day thought I would get the car out of the garage and crack on with some "to do" mods. Gripper tape added to driver foot well Whiteline rear ARB added, took it out for a test drive this evening and noticed the a massive difference.

Nice one, glad to see you got it sorted. I remember seeing this ad when I was on the search for my 172. Im looking at getting the SPAX SRX coilovers, they seem good and should offer me what I want.

Looking good, I do like those rear badges.

Just to connect them up to see if the lights go out. If they do then you know its not a ecu issue and its the actual connector/resistors . you dont have to bolt them in.

Have you tried to put it all back as it was to see if the lights go out? Maybe try one side at a time to eliminate any possible problem. I did this, and it turned out fine (I had the carbon not metal Resistors).

What racing batteries would you guys recommend for the 172 Cup being used as a track car, not a racer. Are these car batteries 400CCA?
