Ahh I see, that helps a lot, so the out pipe to breather filter can be located anywhere right, where have you located yours? How much build up do you get and how often does it need to be emptied?

My clio 172 is on ITB, the crank case breather pipe is open (it has a make shift catch can at the moment). But Im looking at fitting a 2ltr catch can. It has to have the type that has the level visible on the side. So main question how do you fit it, most if seen have 3 pipes going into the can...

Took the car for a real aspirated drive since purchasing the 172 Cup a few weeks back. Notices coming down from high speeds while applying brakes at medium to hard pressure that the car is quite skittish, moving from left to right (snaking at rear). Am I thinking that this is due the springs or...

Iv been running 8mm and 10mm hubcentrics on track and have been fine. I think if you was to go over 10mm, such as 15mm+ thats when I would start to worry. Obviously avoid the shim type spacers

Any one, any ideas how to change the fluid on the PAS on a 172 cup??

Is it a hard job to change the PAS fluid? I don't have access to a ramp. Thanks

Cheers bud, will look into it, if the worst comes to the worst I will just have to have them fixed. Other option is to sell the PP complete to another Audi owner and then buy buckets and frames for the clio....

I will look into the OPM subframes then. Looking further into it, I have been told that Recaro do one for the clio but they dont reccomend fitting it, poss due to the height of the top of the seat?? Is it an MOT failure to have a fixed seat? Here is a pic of the current fitment in the Audi

Did a search, it threw up a few queries but not a definite answer. I have the Recaro Pole position with side mounts, sliding frame and floor mounts for an Audi A4. The seats and side mounts (and im guessing sliders are universal) however Recaro do not stock a floor mount for the ph2 172. So...
