i ALWAYS do both parts of the manifold.
Not including ECU work no, but as always it better than not having it at all.
The dogs b****cks modified inlet manifold costs around £300 and is significantly better than matching as it involves a total reworking and reshaping of the entire manifold...
why build a racing car then, std one is enough based on that ideaology.
Std cars are build to the biggest compramise you can think of, the average user.....who just so happens to supply them with money lol.
the std inlet manifold you cannot modify to any degree of success, some will say port match it, but its near spot on as std anyway. The design is the flaw and nothing you can do about it.
If you wanted to replace it, its either throttle bodies or a fabricated plenham.
No need for bigger injectors until you break the 200bhp mark.
Although, 200bhp on the std inlet manifold requires a rather large amount of effort. 230bhp will take alot of work and alot of money as you will have to convert to throttle bodies at £3.7k a hit.
the original ECU that the engine is off has little bearing when (and if) you remap the entire fuel and ignition tables.
Not all valvers have ABS no, only a few. use your old one.
nah, dont need that.
Mehdis, well craigs now, is running no cat and no closed loop and is significantly cleaner than the MOT requirements, even with the silly cams.
Its all about the CoG, and the 911 had the engine past the rear axle, it had a pendulous ass, and it was that that cought out poor drivers, it would go because the rotational inertia pulled it that way. The clios weight is infront of the rear axle, and its CoG means the car turns around a point...

Just jokin!!!
Its a renault, will always have problems...the boxs and clutches are crap for one.
Looks are subjective, so its upto whomever is looking i agree.
Good, because i dont want it comming across that im sl*gging for the sake of sl*gging.
The v6 has ALOT more rubber on the road than the fwds, traction isnt an issue with all that weight and rubber at the back.
The problem i find is that when you really really push, you have to be so god...
oh trust me, i know how diff they handle hahahaha.......ergh....dont get me started on the phase 1.
But is the phase 2 anything like a pointy cup......no way.
im sorry, im certainly not trying to be rude or belittle the car/owner or whatever else might come across. But i find it so hard to...
keep battering at them, talk to the manager at your branch, or anybody higher up.....if thye say no, demand it.
We always payed for out of warrenty stuff if someone bothered us too much, dont have the time and £400 is peanuts to them.
maybe if the V6 was a racing success or pinnacle of engineering development, then we could compare it.
5 GTT and 5 turbo 2.....turbo 2 piss slow in road trim, but blistering in its Grp A/B days
