If your in a low crime area a 1.4 RT, S or Maxim S will be no problems to insure... Go with the 1.4 S 1997, youll get used to the phase 3 features..
What do ya get with the sport? its an Rsi with a 1.4 energy engine, so you get Semi-Bucket seats, drivers air bag...

my cars 5 years old 1.4 energy, only 20k on the clock, i dont rag it often but can safely say its warn in?
Does it explain why you get some freakishly faster valvers etc. runnin higher bhps and more torque standard than stated?
..well when they are new how big a difference does the first owner and how they drive for the first 10k make to the performance of a car a few years on?

Sounds like a good project and sounds like its just waiting for a new engine and brakes after the ousides sorted, what better than to drop a 2.0 16v and get bigger brakes?
Not after a build or anything, got a Mk1 Phase 3 Clio, the standard stuff needs replacing, Im probably getting a Pioneer mp3 head unit 4x50 watt and as for the other 6 4inch speakers..

From what I heard powerflow dealers to some crap work! dodgy welding etc, you need that life time guarantee as youll find yourself goin back time and time again to et it sorted!

ah rite, what i wanted to hear, cos i dunno where to begin with cutting up body parts they quoted me only 18quid with Vat but if its going to be hassle ill have to leave it for a bit, head unit and speakers have to come first anyway..
I got my 1.4 S phase 3 for 3250, due to it having 19k on the clock and mint. Usualy they will go for 3k, whats your budget, if your big into modding it id get a phase 3 losts of life ahead of it... anything pre96 is going cheaper by the day..
