£7 from dealers...and thats the leatheresque material, the clips as well. Well, it was £7 before price increase, but still under tenner. I don't know part number, but any dealer should have it on their stock list.
You don't need to touch gearknob...its held on with cable tie round the bottom...
I was going to suggest Dell Outlet store...mate got i5 with HD upgraded screen for just over £500! Its best if you get on there at 3pm as thats when they update it.
The stuff they sell is usually cancelled orders or returned/refurbished, or marked...but as Dink has said...a mark can be minimal.
Think it depends on the company...I was with LV when I wrote my Cup off, they paid out and took 2 years off my no claims, so I had 2 years NCB after the accident. I would call them (your company) to check
The 172 is a slightly lower insurance group than the 172Cup.
I was quoted £1040 to renew my insurance last month, so went with Co-operative who are doing it for £680!!! Give them a try and see what they come up with for you...obviously age, no claims, location all come into effect...and if...
If you can get a 2nd hand Cup or V6 spoiler (probably easier and cheaper to go for the Cup one) it should come with the brake light and washer jet connection...I'm not sure if the struts will be okay, as I don't think there's any difference in those.
No, the V6, Trophy and Cup spoiler brake lights are not the same as the standard 172/182 ones.
Part numbers:-
172 Cup, 182 with Cup spoiler pack and 182 Cup:
Spoiler: 7701474863
Raised stoplight: 7700429000
V6 255 / 182 Trophy spoiler:
Tailgate Strut: 6020014070
Spoiler: 6020012727...
You're right...though a fair few people have bought some as extras, you're talking about 0.3% of all 182s having them in (apart from Trophys obviosuly).

Its overclocked as well, so a very good basis for a new machine, then just add HDD, Graphics card and base unit nad you're away. Its the spec mine is...
For the tickets, depends if you want to be parking with the masses, or with the club.
If you want to park with the club, when purchasing tickets online (you can't park with club if you buy ticket on the day), it says 'Club Pass', select Cliosport...and they will send you the pass to get you...

If you keep an eye on the sale section, someone may be selling or giving away their standard exhaust to get you through the MOT.
I got an advisory on my exhaust, so I'm looking to get it changed soon myself.
No, its not 'oil' as in the stuff which sits in an engine allowing friction free movement...its a solution that helps to trap crap IIRC, its thicker than Castrol etc.
Ok, we're 4 weekends away from FCS 5th June 2011.
Now, as you can well imagine, there should be a few people from our area wanting to go down to Rockingham for this event.
While you are fine to go on your own steam, we will organise a convoy to get us from the area down to...
But they will then advise that your system needs cleaning, or something else random. I remember one person saying that they were looking to charge him something like £150 to clean his system out and regas! They are a company who prey on people not having a clue!
regas is about £40 - £50 to get done...but don't use Kwik Fit ;)
There are different reports as to how long it should last, I think its every couple of years, but they do recommend to use it every now and again just to give it a chance to get round your system.
Open driver's door and look at the sticker, it should give you the paint code, put it on here and then someone can tell you which colour it is...ie D43 is Mondial Blue (172Cup)
It is usually 3 digits (but not always), then go here...
Any seat 'should' fit, its the subframes that will need doing/buying/creating. I have always liked the GTi 180 seats, they are the only thing out of the 180's I really like. Look a lot sportier than the RS standard equivalents.
Just remember though, you get what you pay for and I personally...
Was the black 182 a 55 plate? Heading towards Stourbridge direction...if so, I passed him heading opp direction (I was heading towards Wolverhampton) Silver 182.
Your nearest specialist would probably be Birchdown, over Malpas way (they're on here, but you would need to get your beast to them). I wouldn't let anyone do the engine as all it takes is for the cam to a slightly out and it will not run as it should. Definately don't let Lookers Stockport do...
