Which gen is your Ipod...I use the same on mine and it doesn't charge the Ipod (4th gen Nano)...you need a converter to get the power down to 5v (about £15 extra) or just take the Ipod out and charge it off the computer/mains.
Just a heads up for anyone wanting some...called my local Citroen dealer and they quoted me £5.50 ish each...as Citroen had put them up by almost £1.45 in the space of 6 days! So its more expensive now (as 2.5% move VAT would not equal £1.50 increase!) just so you are aware.
So NOT use SMB in Denton...I used them with my old Cup...and the lacquer peel was unreal afterwards...they used (and I quote a bodyshop worker 'Knacker Lacquer')...I don't know of any others up that way...but steer clear of them (from my experience), but they may be better than they used to be...
If the Cup has been maintained properly...it should have had the cambelt done about 2 years ago (its 72K OR 5 years...whichever is sooner).
If it has standard exhaust on it, then expect to replace it as it will have done well getting to 7 years old without a new exhaust!
Whatever car you...
I don't like the idea of a Cup on 182 wheels...it will make it look like a 182...while I'm all for individuality, I've seen another 172Cup with 182Cup wheels and didn't appeal to me. Sorry.
There is a video showing how Kinect will work with it on CS somewhere...it looks good for that, but I'd want a controller or wheel for the game itself rather than sitting in a chair and leaning to left or right to control a car!
It is the same one for all Mk2 Ph2 Clios...just take parts person out and show them...and explain its all in one piece...he/she might (could be wrong) have thought it was the whole plastic piece, rather than just the gear gaitor.
Just phone them...if they give you a crap price (ie wrong...
The leather gaitor and surrounding plastic 'O' are around £7.50 inc VAT from Renault...its a 5 minute job to do..and the only tool you'll need is pliers to snip the end of the cable tie which goes round the bottom of the 'lift reverse' plastic piece.
Hope that helps :)
I had the jets, then decided to get the holes blended in and the front end resprayed as the bonnet had some lacquer peel...so did that and it made the car look so much better!
About 4 years ago when I had one removed from the car (don't know if stolen or fell off!) they wanted £55 approx for the pair...the prices have gone up a fair bit since then, so £80 would sound a good ballpark figure...unless as Scott has said, you can get some from a breakers yard from a Cup...
Re: French car show 2011
I just hope its a bit more entertaining than last year...the company made the day good...but the general (lack of) entertainment wasn't appealing...as were some of the traders who made it look like a glorified car boot sale! (Not pointing fingers at the bloke selling...
The Connects2 system is around £50...

Try MTAUDIO on here and see what he can do them for.
Its at Cosford airbase...people arrive around 9 until midday when people leave and the ones who are going round the museum use the place for that reason.
If you're coming in, its up to you...there's no real time when the 'general public' turn up.
The easiest way is box behind the headunit space, cable through the back of the dash strips, and out into the glovebox where the slot is for the catch...easiest way and no drilling needed.
Which Ipod do you have...as mine is 4th gen and needed the 5v converter in order to charge it from the...
The old girl was 5½ years old, 99,570 and even after a crash that wrote the car off, she still started first time...even after the front end write off...she'd be on around 150,000 now if she hadn't been written off...as she was a pleasure to drive and always started first time (the one occasion...
I spoke with him ages ago about CS potentially having a few cars there when its on...he has no issue(s) with it. Its not a problem.
Tell Aaron that it is the Esso garage (used to be BP)...just remember to have £2 in change to cover parking and then some cash for a bacon/sausage butty while...
Meeting point is here WV7 3NA at 08:15, then we all set off together for the couple of minute run to Cosford, then we park together.
If you can mate, you're more than welcome to pop along. If Daveski is coming along, he is from over Nottingham way...so you would have someone to travel back...
My 182 is a much different proposition to the old 172Cup...172Cup, you had to drive smoother/better...with the 182, just boot it and let the 'toys' do the work!
Plus, the learning curve is going to be a lot different between a 1.1 saxo to something with more than double the power for a bit more weight. Save the 'playing' for when the better weather is here...When I got my Old Cup, I was told to go careful in the wet. Went to pick her up and it was...
Just as a bump...next meet is here http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?544508-Breakfast-Club-Sunday-12-December-Cosford
Not hijacking...I promise. :)
Good pics, Cheers Liam.
PS. The issues between 'CS' and '197/200.net' were the views of one person...the lads from the W.Mids section of the Club were a good lot and it proves that people from more than one club can get on...don't let that one person's comments influence how you feel about...
