Most places arn't going to rave about those prices as there very cheap there just to get the numbers though not for profit when things pick up they prices will go up and people will complain about the cheap prices arn't availiable any more.
I don't see what the issue is your cars not under warnetly and has a problem which you havn't said what parts needs changing the dealership spends time finding the problem and then they find the faulty sensor and chnage it and chnage you labour to find the problem and money to chnage the faulty...
Depends what the fluid is like. I'd always recomend a chnage usually.
Fluid is about £10 I recomend the castrol super dot 4 response Halfords used to stock it might need to shop round for it though now.
£60 for stock disks list price.
Depends I always chnage mine realy for the hastle its only cheap plus I drive my car on track a lot so don't care to much abotu a few quid for a new set of disks.
Personsly stick with stock setup there fine,
Stock disks can be got for £50~60 from laods of places forget IMO uprated unless you realy want to spend on looks or are spending a lot anwyay.
Stock pads come from a few places I like the Ferrdo FDB845 there only £17 list price at Halfords...
Its a good plan and if your cars in mint condition then yep I'd definatly do it. But the horror stories you hear arn't that often as its made out.
Ever seen how much a garage costs to run? They charge a lot as they cost a load to run they shoulnd't bow down to you yor not paying anyhting realy...
There a few options depnds which way you want to go about it you can do the simple thing and just swop engine or swop engine and boxes or swop engine boxes shafts hubs etc.
I'd recomend a 2.0 bottom end though.
