Might have been me mate...on the car park by Pussy Cats nightclub (Tan Bank)???
That was me...the lad was on parade for the ATC on Rememberance day.
If plate ended VOF...thats mine. ;)
Rich, if you get stuck...theres a place in Ketley (KN Wheels) they'll do 16" wheels for about £33 a wheel. They're just behind the Citroen garage in Ketley.
So you could do them yourself...and if things go belly up...get them to sort it out! ;)
Find a place that does waste disposals, skips, etc...they use weighbridges!!! That would be the best way, but finding one that would be willing...now there's a challenge!
Makes sense why my insurance on the Cup dropped down by £250 going from M18 (Manchester) to TF2 (Telford)....went from *refer to B. Now in TF3 (C) but car is garaged, so not as bad as it could be!
Problem is, if you live in a rough neck area, some local pikey will attempt to rob you...if you...
Spot on. make sure you file the connectors on the plug AND the socket. I've used a bit of duck tape to cover it now, as the second one (replaced the first) was playing up in the same way and MOT was due!
Re: NATIONAL CLIOSPORT MEET IDEAS?
We also need to decide if there is an objective for the meet...is it just camp, drink, food...or are we going to be doing something?
Paintball?
A track visit?
....?
Just an idea. :)
Re: NATIONAL CLIOSPORT MEET IDEAS?
If we can get the numbers up...we might be able to promote this for magazine publicity. ;)
Could potentially be a good promotion for CS and their members in an 'offline' activity.
I've PM'd the W.Mids guys to see if people fancy it.....
There's not many people up in Manc that know of Telford. I hadn't and I used to live up in Manchester before the big move down to Shropshire. The move also saved me £250 on my insurance on a Cup!!!!
Yeah mate, had it on mine. I got the replacement part from a scrappy (car was just outside warranty) and it was replaced. It is PAS fluid from the sound of it...I had to replace mine every few days as it was leaking and leaving little puddles on the left hand side of the car (if you're stood in...
I wouldn't say that. I drove from Telford to Cardiff for my exhaust, the local place were gonna charge £260 for a 'stainless exhaust', I got mine made for the car (rather than taken off the shelf) for £330. You will regret not spending the couple of quid extra. I was deaf in my left ear when I...
The 172s have the CC which does take some power away from the engine...thats why they struggle to make the same power (not talking about weight) as the Cups.
My Cup originally came from the NW....maybe thats why its fast! ;)
Now its gotten used to the nice Telford air and the decent...
Bloody hell mate! :(
Gutted for ya. Conditions do look a bit slippery though, and esp when there's oil on the road.
Good luck in getting it all sorted as smoothly as possible.
Might have been the angle...as I was lying on the floor taking the pic. The end of the tailpipe does hang lower than the standard one, but I wanted stealth (well, situated behind the bumper)
Re: NATIONAL CLIOSPORT MEET IDEAS?
Sorry mate! Its amazing what you can find if you look hard enough...although I think that the place underlined would be a tight squeeze for parking!!!

Mimo is the new standard for wireless networking. Faster transmission rates...you need compatible network cards as well as a router for it to be fully utilised.
Do you mean the BP Garage on Trench Lock...or somewhere else?
The one further up the road towards Hadley was a good little place...but has gone now because of that building just up past the Vauxhall Garage.
Are they like electrical wires, or metal cables? If its metal cables...they're linked to the bits you pull up when letting people into the back seats.
Although if they're electrical wires could be for the side airbags...mine is a Cup and doesn't have side airbags...but still has the wires.
I was (still am!) running a Pro-speed stealth exhaust.
The car (on same rollers last year) ran 172.3...with standard exhaust and standard filter...but the exhaust fell off 3 days later...so could have not been performing quite up to scratch!
The cat isn't normally the problem. Its the backbox...the design isn't the best (suppose its because the car is made at a cost) it always fails just infront of the backbox because the pipe corrodes! replacing it just means it will go again...and looking at the 182s it looks like they have the...
