Early MK1s didnt run a second lambda. diff ECU for cable and FBW, with totally diff loom, and for cup with no aircon. None of the ECUs are really the same. Engine mapping wise yea, systems no.

Very true, but i havenoticed massive amounts of quality variation between regions. Some Optimax knocks like hell and some dont. My scoob is very very sensitive and can knock/det very easily

Optimax degrades and you have no indea how long its in the tank, i talk to the friendly chat at our station and the fuel truck comes every 2 weeks, and its a HUGE petrol stationon the main road to cambridge. Optimax is rank after a few days and a week its pretty much the same as regular SUL...
