whack the optimax in anyway.. for the sake of £3 a tank id rather run it on what renault recomend. i think it runs alot better with it too (not any quicker though)

There are no shell garages anywhere resonably close to me.
So ive been putting in BP Ultimate 97, does anyone have any comments on this stuff?

Optimax degrades and you have no indea how long its in the tank, i talk to the friendly chat at our station and the fuel truck comes every 2 weeks, and its a HUGE petrol stationon the main road to cambridge. Optimax is rank after a few days and a week its pretty much the same as regular SUL.

Texaco in my scoob holds better boost (computer doesnt fluctuate it) and power, and gives much much better returns in MPG.

But for some reason, a mix of Optimax and the texaco stuff is the best, but its hard to find texaco super premium.

How long do u think its been in a silo at the refinery? petrol takes ages to degrade. a week or so extra in a petrol station will make absolutely no difference.

Very true, but i havenoticed massive amounts of quality variation between regions. Some Optimax knocks like hell and some dont. My scoob is very very sensitive and can knock/det very easily

In similar news, normal 95ron has come down thanks to supermarkets.. YAY!

Local esso is 79.9 again.. which, is a damn site bettern than 83.9 which its been for a while.. less than 80p == good.. (well, better)

I thought random unannounced visits take place and the stuff is tested for quantity and quality ?
