Superb, did you get the engine locally?! Not done anything to do mine, had a piece of metal removed from my left eye last Wednesday, not 100% sure I'll be there tomorrow, my vision is fine but feels like I've got serious eye strain :( Not even washed it since the last day out lol
I use them on the rear, side walls are too soft to use on the front for me. They wear extremely well, my rears have done 9 track days and still have loads of life, I'll be buying again when they're gone, I use 888s on the front :)
Not a lot of work, 1mm cutting disc and a hole saw are more than a match for it  I did have a cooler mounted in the same place but with the crash beam untouched, bits of metal have been disappearing as I find weight to shed lol
yeah, easy enough, luckily I already had the right hole saw, I put some silicone round it to make sure it was well sealed too. Glad I didn't bodge it with a grommet now I can lift the epas power off it :)
it will be very close to where the power will be from, there's a longacre pass through +ve terminal from the kill switch on the bulkhead above it
also a mega fuse at the battery itself
Made a start on the epas wiring, opened the power connection plug and managed to get new cable in there to cut down on the number of joints, managed to stab myself in the thumb doing it lol
New steering column spacers
I quite like the idea of fiddling with the assistance tbh, just another toy! I am a bit worried that it'll change the way the car feels, but I really want to take a bit more weight from the nose of the car
I'm still not fully convinced I actually need/want epas, but the bullet has been bitten lol
unfortunately had the buy this for my X too as it barely turned over a couple of days ago and was just off the trickle charger :( Anyone looking for a battery I'd really recommend Tanya.co.uk
Finally got the Cup out last Sunday, ran faultlessly again, roll on next month! Poly Windows, lowering the seats, relocating the battery, shedding weight from me and the car adds up, this time last year I was doing 1.14s at Kirkistown, this time was consistently into the 1.10s, still learning...
