A few people on here have visited Pro-speed in Cardiff...3 of us are in the W.Mids, myself, JayHunt and Kully have all been there, prices have just gone up, but I had a stealth exhaust made from scratch for £318...the local tyre and exhaust place wanted £250 for an off the shelf stainless steel...

You can also use the screwdriver type things that create guide holes for screws...put it in one hole at a time, and move the unit slightly...it does work, as one of the lads from renault did it for me when I had a liquid air freshener leak into the bit of dash around the radio!

Just remember though, the backbox is too heavy for the mount...the mount on the 172 is the same as for a 1.2, but the extra weight of the backbox means that they're prone to failure...some lasting longer than others! If you go custom...at least you can get the sound you want, with a lifetime...

Al, its a good job that ChrisK and TomehB didn't turn up (another 2 cups!!) we're probably the Cupital of England for such a small place!! (see what I did there!) ;)

Its not a booming boy racer jobbie...its noisier than standard, but there is no 4K rattle...and it sounds nice during a pootle round as well as when giving it some beans Scott...no worries mate. :) You can also listen to JayHunt's which is a cut through, and Kully's but this has a different...

Mine was done at end of November, old box fell off...Got the stealth one off Charlie, but went down on the day! (It was literally can you? Please...Pretty Please!) :) I could have got a stainless exhaust here in Telford for £250ish...but went down to Cardiff...as heard nothing but good reviews...

The cup is the hardest RS Clio to insure. Neil @ Greenlight has said on here many moons ago that the Cup is the Clio which is involved in the most single vehicle accidents...sad but true! :(
