Kully...you've been to the bloody factory with me!!!!
I've put myself down as a point of contact for the Group Buy...only 5 mins away from the house! ;)
See if I can get the same kind of discounts they were offering back in November! ;)
plugged tyres are fine, they drill the hole so that the plug is a tight fit. I did put my plugged tyre on the rear though, just in case. But its not had any problems since its been done.
I haven't received my reminder yet (recently changed vehicle address) and remember it was somewhere around the £100 - £110 figure. Was erring on the side of pessimism (sp!)
Re: Misano Group buy..register interest
Don't know Deb...Mandy (My other half) is 4' 9" in height...The subframes would make the seats a little lower, don't know if they (the frames) can be fabricated to make them a bit taller???
Re: Misano Group buy..register interest
I can't promise miracles...but they were doing decent prices when we were there, plus...its probably better to go direct, as shops have their markup!
Would need a list of who would want what, colours, fabrics, etc www.cobraseats.com
And whether any...
Re: Misano Group buy..register interest
Colin,
Let me know...I'm a 5 min drive from Cobra head office so can visit them for best prices and deals...I managed to get some of the lads in there last November...they were having a factory clearout....
For the cheaper version of the Misano's...
Depends on your location...and what do you want the RR to do...are they doing mapping work & run(s) or just a power run to see what the car is currently doing?
If its just a run, then its more economical if you do it as part of a RR day...if not, then think it would depend on the map that...
If its a replacement though, and the holes are already drilled...then you'd have redundant holes in splitter if the ones in bumper weren't re-useable.
Also cuts down on cost...imagine how much extra Renault would charge for drilling 6 holes??? (remember a pair of blanking plates is £55!!!!)...
Welcome to CS...
If you're up for attending meets in the W.Mids...have a look in the local meetings section, there is a meetings list...might as well get your name down!
Enjoy your stay! :)
Donny
I didn't recognise the plate...was just trying to drop Grant off at Air Cadets...the engine was nice and warm...and I always open 'her' up on that run on the M54!
It was me, sorry I didn't let on...I didn't recognise the plate. :)
Who could they be???
Although now ChrisK has gone to the darkside! :(
There's still You, Jayhunt, TomehB and I!!! :approve:
Birmingham sounds brilliant! ;)
The hubs are really just a wireless router...I'm on my second one now, as the first kept dropping internet connection!! I had some lad called 'Peter' from India trying to help me through the diagnostics...I'm a 2nd line engineer, but he still couldn't fathom that I knew what I was doing...so...
These blanking plates are circa £55 inc vat from the stealers! The headlight washers are about £10 a piece (just to give you a guideline!)
As said though, you need the lights to be on either stage dipped or main beam, and then they should work...if not, check the piping!
The tar remover is good stuff...I had something on my windscreen...like hot tar (or something) that had been flicked up from another car...couldn't shift it for love nor money...used the tar remover, 60 secs later...came off as if it wasn't attached! Big thumbs up for the stuff!
I've upgraded to the wireless hub, but for an extra £10 a month, they'll give you the phone to make calls like Skype via Voice Over IP. VOIP is good...but if you make Skype to Skype calls...they're free (with Skype) once you've bought the kit outright!
