Its not the optimum oil at all there laods of variables.
The 182 isn't a high performacne engine.
Why should a dealer do as you say though regards oil after all there stamping your service book and using the correct oil which you don't even know.
Yep your not insured to drive the 172/182 he's a traders so can this is sometimes being removed thogh from traders cover unless they register the car to themselves.
Yep but your forgetting the problem you have that when you part the car or leave it unattended on the road etc its not covered...
Since dealers can use 10w 40 under the renault spec (its fine so long as temps don't drop below -20) maybe you should have aksed why they used 10W 40 oil before making out you know more than you do.
172/182 brakes worksuperbly though?? Brakes are good in them though should be there from a even more powerful car.
The 197 is as quick as a 172 or 182 they do aneed a few miles to loosen up though.
Proven.
You need to define better.
efine why its better for me the Trophy is the worst of...
Nope that about right thing about it cambelt is 5.1 hour officially (can be done in about 4) top engine cam seal is 7.1 hours and you've got to get the head etc off so 10 hours is fine.
Can get away with reusing bolts your supposed to measure them but depends how keen you are I'd say change...
Who's setup is it I thought you had a ktec car and they did cams and head work?
Bottom end isn't cheap depend how far you go and how much you DIY. Stronger rods arn't to bad.
Depends how its done it shoulnd't though.
182 suspenion at the back is interchangable etc but rear axles are different so you won't ever unless you swop the whole rear axle have a 182 rear end.
Front end well the shocks from a trophy would fit with adjustment but don't forget you to get the full use out of them need the ARB and...
Fixed IMO the adjustble is pointless not enough adjusbility in it. But regardless its a bit hard a setup so if you can spend for H and R or IMo keep stock but if you do wany coilovers they are good.
No point boring out if you've turbo for the money realy.
Ported head and cams if you havn't got them i think you do though.
I'd look at using a different bottem end anaywa though for a better clutch/gearbox.
Try this
Theres a simple diagnostics built into the Mk2 Clio's
To access this, with the igition off press and keep hold of the button at the end of the stalk and turn the ignition on. ALl the dashboard warning lights will come on and the speedo and rev counter will go through a predefined...
