I've owned both & the cup offered far more for me. Felt more sprightly, noisier, quicker, obviously no 'helping hands' to save you. Overall a 'truer' drivers car imho. 182 was far better at motorway work though & obviously more toys to play with. I prefered the 172 cup by quite a distance tbh :D

For the 0% £17.5k deal, they will sell the car to the finance company for £15k or so (the £2.5k 'discount' will cover the finance charges, allowing you a 'perceived 0% rate'). Hence why you were able to 'barter' it down to that level ... I run finance programs ;)

Thats because Renault will have to discount the invoice value to the finance company to cover the cost of the '0% interest' that they are giving you :) 0% deals are great if you have cash to barter with ...

Bit of another update, Eibachs are now sold as they are very soft, looking to get some Faulkner -45mm custom 155lb ones instead - much better for track ;) Hopefully get some of it actually on the car this weekend lol. Theres also a Quaife ATB diff group buy on Shed that i need to stay away...
