Aye, a wirelss 'bridge' will work. Had a Netgear one working on my original Mk1 Xbox...as above needs setting up separately first though.
Once done the 360 will think it's connected using a normal CAT5 cable.
Mine's been OK...up to 115k now from new. Apart from a niggly wiring issue when new it's been bang on.
Consumables can last ages, and the only major thing I've replaced has been the gearbox as a result of running out of talent in a big way on track.
Once this one finally becomes terminally ill...
I'd avoid the 60gb one.
If you want a quiter gaming experience then you need to install ALL your games to the HDD.
Throw in a few downloaded GTA levels, Forza car/track packs, games demos, arcade games blah blah blah and 60gb doesn't go very far at all.
120gb is the minimum you should get IMO.
Just in case it's not been picked up yet...
Most of the braking is done by the front axle, very little is done by the rears.
No way your car has been braking using just the rears - as others have said you'd have binned it long ago if that was the case.
There's some qualified opinions on here...
Common error! I gave my car and the lines to a garage to fit. Picked it up, drove it home, then looked at the rear brakes...
Got straight on the phone to the garage thoroughly pissed off demanding someone explain why they hadn't fitted the rears, and what would they do to compensate me for the...
Between two visits to Surrey Rolling Road I removed my power steering and put a homemade airbox/CAF kit on.
This added 10 bhp, Charlie (owner) says from his experience that power steering, even in it's dead-ahead 'idle' state takes about 7 bhp which would mean 3 from my airbox. Makes sense to...
I play with other cars when the opportunity presents itself, can make a memorable drive if you're lucky, or quite a mess if you're not so I err well on the side of caution while I do it.
The lightweight cup's such a beast though that even at six tenths it still mullers just about everything so...
Mine ends here...
It's strictly for Cup owners only though unless you rip out your air-con.
You've got to be happy with losing the fuel rail guard as well.
Here's mine...
With this, a Ktec stealth exhaust, R-Sport ECU, and no power-steering it gives a consistent 186 bhp. Fitting this and removing the power steering gave me 10 bhp, so that's about 3bhp or so just for this filter.
But that's the point!
In real life why would you even consider going for a 5 second/10 second/20 second weapon change when you're on a two-way range knowing you cannot return fire while you do it?
You wouldn't. You would put yourself behind cover and then change weapon/reload/whatever...
LOL - I didn't see this thread as anyone 'having a go'.
I got a bit c**ky in the dry with the threshold braking and made a comment that came back and bit me on the ass. If I hadn't made that comment then it was nothing other than a minor incident...but as I did say what I said I edited this...
:o :o :o
It was a major fail on my part...I got on the brakes too abruptly and didn't 'feel' the lock up...if I'd been smoother onto the brakes, squeezing them on more progressively I'd have avoided the lock-up and my front bumper would still be straight.
Isn't that how it is in real life? Swapping an M4 for a RPG while running would be a bit tricky wouldn't it?
I've been lucky so far I think...no real evidence of any glitches, no floating people, and solid AI that responds to my commands.
Great game IMO.
