they wont blow if done up tight and the cars been run for about 10 mins....leaving it overnight will do nothing as the heat paste drys with heat...if you read the tube, it should say "let the engine idle for around 10 mins"
if left as it is, it will find its way to the end of the pipe, and block it...leading to loss of power (like a top speed of 30/40mph!) its becuse the elements inside turn around to the side and get sucked/blown into the back of the cat, completely blocking the pipe.
i used comma(think tht the make), is very good, im sure the engine rev's easyer than with non synthetic oils lol. that might just be me tho....
my renault garage (both exeter and barnstaple) use the elf 5w40 fully synth...(just for refference)
as above, check the switch, then check relays - but i think the hazzard lights use the same relays as the indicators, just both working at the same time...id say it more to do with the switch....
just because it clicks dosnt mean its working, the contacts could be worn/corroded. hope this helps...
you have to re-register a new engine with the car.
if you want to change the engine, you'll need to get all the parts corrisponding to that engine...new wiring loom/ecu/pipes ect. sometimes you even have to change gearbox/driveshafts/suspension. but iv never looked into that specific switch so...
if your clutch feels hard, the clutch covers worn....get a new clutch, it will be light a as a cloud to! mine used to be hard, now with my new clutch, its a dream!
Dave, it could be your ecu in that case....might have completely died. you can pick up second hand ones for £25 or so...
what you need to do is.....take the starter mototr out (2 bolts, very easy), then try and turn the oter over as if you were starting the car, if the motor turns, then its ok...

i can do 0-60 in 9/10 seconds in my 1.2. the reason why book times are higher is because the test them with a passenger and stuff, its more and avaergae, not top 0 - 60 speed. also different makes do the tests differently. hope this helps!

its already decated....its still not load enougth! theres a plastic pig over the road from me that makes more noise! lol. when you say str8 thru pipe you mean one that can fit down the mid box? i would do this, but the mesh inside the mid-box is curled up one side, so its not possible...any...
the clicking is the starter motor trying to turn. if your sure batery is ok try the following;
check you oil, make sure you engine hasnt melted.
put the car in 1st gear, then push it forwards/rock the car. sometimes the starter motor gear get stuck, this help release it.
unscrew the starter...
