Cambelt change is due timewise, excluding tools what do I need from Renault. Already got oil/filter and may fit ac delete while im there so don't need aux belt at this time. So

All for making tools if possible, done engine hoist, ramps, oil filter remover and a few more smaller items. Probably not actually saved much money if I had had to buy all the materials.
I tried to get one from euro car parts (or similar) to be told dealer only, despite seeing them advertised on ebay, I bought one but it didn't fit, still only £150 each from Renault. Phase 1 by the way,
Don't know much about tt,s really, is it turbo/4 wheel drive? then enormous amount of fabrication using most of the bottom half of the tt I would have thought. Cost depends on how much you can do yourself.
Been using Halfords oil for must be 20 years in my wifes cars, while I put the expensive oils in mine, now use Halfords in my own after no issues with my wifes cars.
I think standard if you want quiet, I have a btb system as I was lead to believe it was one of the quieter systems around, while its fine at sixty, seventy is obtrusive and eighty is a no no if daily commute although fine for a sunday morning blast.
