If you have a cable then it's not fly by wire. As far as the fault goes, i'd check the earths as suggested above a few times. I'd also replace the pre cat lambda sensor.

Large sump plug socket , or use the head of a bolt with a couple of nuts on it to undo that. It's easier to then lock the pulleys to undo them, but a buzz gun will shock them off.

yeah Craig owns it now. We know each other through Northloop forum. He had it virtually completely resprayed and then magazine featured. Sadly he had a prang in it though and considered binning it, but ended up repairing it. It's half purple now though because of the donor parts.

Ph1 head is better than ph2. I've always found the bog standard ph2 to be slowest. Cups always made better power.
