Just type garage flooring into Amazon. It's not the stuff I was after, but it's about 1/4 of the price. My garage is almost 7m long so I couldn't justify the extra cost.
These do crush under weight, where as the proper rubber tiles I was after don't, but it's something I can live with. They...
The socket is still there but it's only connected to the standard ecu that runs the dash. The rest is run from the Adaptronic. We can give it a go and see what happens?
This will be a right old old skool CS meet. I'll get Dad to bring the silver one as well.
Cool! I think it's the 9th August or something Iain. Be good to catch up.
Yeah it was great getting the old girl back. Shame the plate has been sold on, but it's back on the plate I picked when it was new so that's pretty cool.
I didn't say they weren't!
Pinch of salt for the reasons explained in the post above. A sensible chap would've put air in his tyres and filled up with V-Power or something. As I was more concerned about moving house at the time I ignored all of that.
I can only go on what I saw that day...
lol, that was a Remus backbox that's been replaced with a Miltek system. It's not to my Dad's liking so he's going to swap it out for a standard exhaust. He's also after a set of Turini's for it.
Mine didn't make quite the power I had hoped for at EFI, but then Andy's car running Pipers was...
As usual, I've let this thread get well out of date. Here are some copy and paste's!
Had a faff with the shims for the cams, ended up with 2 sets. Have to say getting them to sit below the hydraulic lifters without dropping them into the head was the worst job i've ever had to do. It wasn't...
Probably the Fiat Coupe I had. On it's day it was brilliant, but I can only remember one such day in the 6 months I had it.
Rad went, gearbox went, many electrical issues etc etc. Cost me a fortune and 17mpg didn't help.
On a sunny day though cruising about it was great.
That just about sums up PH for me. I agree the cars that get in are sometimes not entirely beffiting the event, but it's not as if you pay to get in!
Some great pictures here :)
That depends on the car you rent and insurance is included.
Sure crashing your own car may prove cheaper for the first party (you), but you are - how can I put this nicely - fcuked, if you cause damage, or worse, injury to the third party.
Driving round without suitable third party insurance...
Nope, thats all been done. We aren't doing it to make money off of it as it's done too many miles. It's more to just have a bit of fun with for a few years.
I've already got a modified one, so we both agreed this would look better back on Turini's. There's not much wrong with it, it just needs a good tidy and a suspension/bush refresh. New brakes, headlight clean, that sort of thing.
I bought this car in September 2003 brand new.
152k later (and feeling slightly sorry for itself) it's back in the family. Big thats to Andyrg for all his help.
My Dad is going to spend some time putting it back to standard and cleaning it up a bit and then do a few trackdays in it. I'm...
These are sold by Amazon, direct from them I think. You'd think they'd probably try and sell non-faked goods, as i'm sure Trading Standards would like to know otherwise.
