My brother has recently bought a 335. Nice car, understated, well built as you'd expect.
The iDrive is fecking annoying and the ride is surprisingly crashy, but it goes like stink. He's just had it remapped and apparently 'it's quite quick'.
Yeah fair enough. Still sounds like you're going to be running them pretty hard. The R26 injectors were only £50, so not the end of the world and if I do decide to turbo in the future i'm not forced to change them again.
I could never dream of owning your current car or a 996 Turbo, so i'd gladly take either. A friend of a friend however had a 996 T and only kept it for 6 months quoting the exact same thing you just said. He got bored of it and bought a 964.
The group N angles have been posted before, you'll have to do a decent search though I guess.
Proper group N retards the exhaust cam slightly as well, I think it's 4 degrees. Inlet is about 7, but don't quote me on that, I'm not 100% sure.
This assumes you've got standard cams as well.
lol @ business plan.
You pay to join the club. That's generally how clubs work - and survive.
I guess he doesn't need to become a trader when people advertise his stuff for him all the time though.
Oh I agree, it has it's benefits, that's undoubtable. The downsides are the very things you've just mentioned, there is only one guy in the entire country that can get the best out of these for 'reasonable' outlay.
Great, and so he should, because it's 'his' product (sort of). It's not up to...
You can read how impartial I am elsewhere (and in this thread) but they one thing I will say is that i'd never doubt the SRR figures. I've had 5 different cars of all different makes on those rollers and I've had good and bad results.
I'm not on a downer here (honest) as it's an impressive result, but you talk about this as if it's something that everyone is chasing? Are Ktec spending hours and hours chasing the ultimate cam timing on a car fitted with an RS2 (that let's face it is fairly rare in itself) - I doubt it. Would...
I can't get into this game at all and i've tried a few times now. I've played them all, I just can't be bothered with this one. The engine noises really wind me up.
I've been playing Real Racing 3 on the iPad a while now and I keep going back to it. It's what GT6 should be, it's just so much...
If the polo rad wasn't up to the job then why do most run it? It works perfectly well and fits the space nicely as well. Your suggesting paying more for something thats not necessary. That is bonkers.
