im near the retail park area. yeah there are a few around here, i seen a 172 with a carbon bonnet.. trophy that goes to a house over the road to me and a black 182 at the JJB gym..

i got a bargain as it needed a new gearbox and the previous owner put in a 182 one with driveshafts etc. took me 3 months get the correct parts and some £1400 poorer car is great condition and drives great too. paid 2k for it, get it as it is bout 3500 in total. i got a bargain with this...

I always wanted a 182 but i got this cheap so this will last til i upgrade to a newer CS in around 3 years or so

not many to be honest.. only 15k on the clock so the engine wil stay standard for a while at least.. I plan on replacing the wheels with the cup ones... tho i have just replaced all the tyres on these ones !! and lower is if it needs it. the interior is immaculate so that can stay as it is also.

ok ive been a member on here for 6 months or so and been a freeloader for much longer..some of you may know i bought this car 9 months ago and it was in need of TLC.. new gearbox and driveshaft to name a few... I got it on the road finally in the New Year and after 6 months im still well...

I had mine aux belt dont last week.the garage told me the kit was £107 and think they only charged me around £190

head gasket failure i hope not... from doing a search on here the heater motors are a common failure so will get that checked tomorrow. the previous owner said the gearbox was fine until the car got to 4 years old and starting playing up ( again from a seach another common problem) the car...

going on this forum alone my car seems to have commom faults ..... plenty of shitters around then ,eh?! with 14k on the clock,FRSH and 1 previous owner i doubt its been un-looked after no heater not working at all ,the display is all fine and i can hear it turning behind the dash got it...

i got the exact same proble with my ph2 172... should i just get a motor or try the resistor pack.. i have it booked into a garage this wednesday afternoon to have a look at it im not sure what they will charge me i was told by renault guys at oldham that the motors are around £200

I bought the car 6 weeks ago and other than the gearbox problem (now replaced with a recon) and minor MOT failure the car has been great :) until sunday one of my xenons stopped working ( only 2 days old) monday my heater decided not to give out warm/hot air..no air from the vents at all come...

the little pipes that go around the drivers side on the engine into the radiator? are they easy to fit? is it a simple screw into both ends??

I fitted 2 new xenons on friday and today only one is working..the passenger has stopped working i persume its down to fuse? which fuse is it? i dont have a cover ( going to scrappys wednesday for one) the garage fitted new xenons for the MOT could i go back to the garage and tell them it...

i will just persevere with it until the service its only just done 14k on clock but previous owner had it stood over a year ( crazy fool i know lol) should run better over the next few weeks

the light is staying on (lit orange) it isnt flashing .. the car was stood for a year at least before i bought it, since i bought it i have MOTD it (aswell as other problems change gearbox /aux belt) and it did fail on emmissions to which the garage fixed..could it be the garage just need to...

are they linked together, or seperate problems? im not too sure if it is a ecu light.. its orange in a engine shape with a fan on it.!? i know the car is due a service or could it be more serious? thanks Nat

sparkplugs good until then? really.. mine has 14k on the clock but it sounds as tho its misfireing..cnt describe it other than that..i was advised that it could be the sparkplugs!

where would i get one from? i currently dont have one on my windscreen..if i do i cant see it...( its positioned around the rear view mirror isnt it?) ..the window is renault etched if that helps..are they easy to fit?

I have just turned my ignition on and switched light on/off twice and it beeped..i thought this would make my light auto..it didnt i tried it again and got 2 beeps ..still no joy. anyone know what the problem is? i dont know where the sensor is to look at that

If i was to get a service done at my local garage ( have always done a top job and always used them) for my 172ff how much am i looking for a service? i would provide my own oil. does all service's come with plug change ? as sparx are due for a change

no cambelt gets changed earlier...so im led to believe. mine has only 14k on clock but it got changed today as its 5years old..its whichever comes first but im sure its less milage than 76k alot less
