inner part doesnt fit the gearbox mechanic said the spines fit but the cups dont he said... Is it true that the cv's only come on a driveshaft and that youcant get them seperate..like the cvs are attached to the shaft. i have done a search and thats what some are saying also northwest propshafts...

i thought i had the right driveshaft a 172 one..which has a spline of 30. so if the 30spline cv jont dont fit into the gearbox then neither could be right?! as there is only 1x30 spline cv joint.... so am i right in thinking i need to track down the correct driveshaft part number find out how...

yes the mechanic read the code to me to take to renault..and renault gave me this part 7701056850 which is a internal CV joint..(which doesnt fit) and said that matches up to the 182 gearbox

no i dont have the old driveshaft ..long story.. a 182 has traction control right? if so they wont fit... also mechanic said they need fit into the other side ( wheel side i persume) are the 172 and 182 driveshafts all the same on this side?

i believe with a 182 driveshaft and traction control they dont fit a 172, the mechanic said the 172 driveshaft he has will fit its just the internal C.V joint doesnt fit the gearbox or sommat.. im ready to give up :(

jc5130 is what i have yeah and the driveshaft i bought was off a 172 and the mechanic said it didnt fit, so what do i need to buy when i have tried a 172 if i ring renault and give them the 172 gearbox number will the driveshaft that fits that one fit the 182 one? if that makes sense .surely...

i also forund out that my ph2 172ff is a import,doesnt bother me too much, will get a alarm fitted, noproblems with insurance or anything. they all from same production line lol

isnt it illegal to sell a car with hp still owing, as its not actually theres to sell, until its paid up it still belongs to finance compnay. me personnally i wouldnt buy it, they could not pay it up then the company is coming after you for the car.

i did a check on the car which came back clear ,where it said exported it said NO i presumed it was a uk model but it doesnt have the LED light near the gearstick made me think it was a import bit peed off tbh thought the car check would have stated import. having no alarm locking wheels nuts...

yes any models my 172 doesnt either but i was always under the impression the 182's did. wouldnt mind it lol

Do the 182's come with the quick clear windscreen? If so does it come on any other sport models? maybe a bit random i kno.my dad has it on his ST-3 and i was always under the impression the CS's did,he seems to think its only ford that mainly do them.

no apparently they dont fit, the mechanic has told me to get a 182 driveshaft to see if that fits..i persume it should do as the one on the offside must be a 182?! only problem is a 182 driveshaft are harder to come by than a 172 one :(

It may be minor but when i type for reg details in on the internet for insurance quotes etc it comes up with cliosport 172 cup... now i know they did a few cups in silver but i have leather interior, 172 alloys,climate etc, everything a 172 FF has. does this happen with most other people?

i recall a black 182 for sale on there and ebay a while ago priced very similar my gut instinct said it was a insurance loss, and i still think the same. if it sounds too good be true ..It usually is !!

yeah i had a great time there this year too tho i didnt find it changed much from last year... some nice clios on show too. the blue v6 max was my fav oh and the liquid yellow v6 :)
