Hi All,
I've got a 182 which has Eibach Sportline springs and Ktec solid top mounts fitted and AD08R tyres.
I had the tracking done at a KwikFit on a hunter machine straight after fitting the springs/top mounts and tyres and it seemed to drive OK. I had the car serviced and checked over at...
After a day with the Eibachs on Saturday it was clear there was still something wrong - still felt loose at the back. I put the standard cup springs back on this morning and the car feels and drives perfect again. Now wondering if there is something wrong with the Eibachs.
Refitted them this morning and they are fine now (don't think I seated them properly). I say fine - still not sure about the ride - they do feel a bit soft compared to standard. Hmm - might have to look at alternatives that lower the car about the same (30mm)
I recently fitted new Brembo HC discs and CL RC5+ pads to the front of my 182. The CL's performance is amazing but the squeel and screech so much I took them out and but Brembo pads back in. The noise from the CL's was just too embarrassing on the daily drive to work lol
Yeah tightened up well. It feels like its crabbing from the left rear - as if the toe has been upset. I'm having a lok this morning and probably putting the standard spring back on.
Hi All,
I've got a full fat 182 (both cup packs). Last weekend I changed the front springs to Eibach Sportlines and fitted k-tec solid top mounts, leaving the standard ff 182 rear springs alone. I've been driving the car like this all week and it has felt great - much much better at the...
Can anyone help with part codes or a parts diagram for these? I need the nearside and offside front parts of the front wheel arch lners - one came off and shattered under the car and the other is shredded and half hanging off lol. Oh, also need all fixings for them too.
Cheers,
Dave.
Took mine off this weekend as it was loose and rattling - found out there was only one nut holding it on which was loose. I had the front bumper and the slam panel off at the time which made it much easier to shine a torch into the holes and see what was going on
Cant work out if I need to remove the whole battery tray to get at whats underneath it? There is a fairly large metal/rubber washer with the kit and I think this might go underneath the battery tray?
Just wondering if anyone has any instructions on how to change the upper gearbox mount on a 182? I've polybushed the dogbone mount and fitted a k-tech upper engine mount today but still have a k-tech upper gearbox mount to fit. I took the battery out early then hit a brick wall when I realised...
What looks like a whacking great piece of pig iron behind the battery box covering the ECU is loose on my car and I'm sure it's rattling away under the bonnet and I can hear it whilst driving. I want to remove it to see if the rattle goes away. What is the point of this thing and is there any...
I want to change the gear knob on my 182 to a metal one. Does anyone know if the gear knob in the photo below will fit (I had one of these on my old 200 and I liked it). If this one won't fit, is there an equivalent one for the 182?
Thanks,
Dave.
I've just bought a FF 182 which has the cup pack 16" wheels with 205/45/16 tyres. I was wondering what my options are for wheel sizes - diameter, width and offset, along with options for tyre widths and profiles. I've had a look around but can't really find a guide or such with the options, so...
Hmm don't think so - the 'spokes' seem to be on the outside of the rim on the superturismos whereas the ones in the photo are on the inside. They look identical to the standard wheels on the V6 255 but I'm not sure what they are - anyone know?
First service was 5347 miles (03/08/2012)
Second service was 20623 miles (24/07/2013)
Third service was 37410 miles (21/07/2014)
Fourth service was 42121 miles (27/01/2015)
Cheers,
Dave
Hi
I've seen a Renaultport Clio 200 for sale which I am considering buying. It's looks in really good condition - Recaros are good, paintwork is mint etc but the only thing putting me off is the service intervals. I thought the intervals on a 200 were 12K miles or 2 years - whichever comes...
Hi,
I took my V6 into QuickFit yesterday to hopefully get a puncture fixed on the nearside rear.
Unfortunately, they could not get the wheel off, despite battering it with several rubber malletts for about ten minutes. Anyone else come across this before, and if so whats the solution...
OK, heres some info on our trip to France/Switzerland/Italy last week (hopefully it will help people to take the plunge if they are thinking about something similar but are undecided).
First off, I love driving my V6 Clio so this was a dream come true and something Ive wanted to do for a long...
Im thinking about upgrading the stereo and/or speakers in my Mk2 V6 Clio. I mainly drive a Golf diesel for work purposes and the stereo in that is way better than in my Clio (at least to my ears it is).
Id like to keep the standard stereo if possible (dash display, steering column controls...
Heres the URL to my Switzerland photos. Thanks to Scott1987 for the Photobucket suggestion.....
