Yes it is a filthy engine bay! Now the RS2 is fitted I will spend a little bit of time cleaning it up. new battery to go on, good degrease and some nice blue HT leads to go on I think
Right I am going to be undertaking a full suspension refresh (shocks, bushes, wishbones) and I will be replacing the springs with either sportlines or cooksports. Now the car Is a cup packed 182 running standard 182 wheels with 205/45/16 rubber, but once these tyres are finished I will be...
I'm keeping my eye on this as although I don't have a flamer I have only ever polished my car by hand with AG super resin polish I've never waxed my car. I use meguires yellow mirror glaze at work for sometime for waxing patterns but that's it. lol
Yeah I'm intrested to hear what it sounds like too, I've only ever heard it once when Fred fitted it and took it for a run round the estate quickly and that was two years ago now.
I've just fitted a skoda splitter and it doesn't look as good as the standard cup splitter imo but for the cost saving it is spot on.
I live out in the country so rabbits and also phesants are very common. My cup splitter was cracked when I bought it and a Pheasant finished it off. The skoda one...
This is going to look great when its finished!
Fancy sending me down the front bumper once its painted up and you can have my stone chipped one in return lol
If your not wanting to spend £££ on decent coilovers then Just refresh the standard setup and either cooksport (which are currently very popular) or sportlines which dont drop the car quite as much but are tried and tested.
Personally I am getting all the bits together (shocks, bushes...

These are in a barn on the farm where we rent our house, check out the colour of the triumph
Well I collected the car From James/Mike on Friday evening just in time for CSS shame the weather was terrible so the RS2 wasn't out on display much.
I am popping back down to staines on friday to have the map finished, just didn't have enough time, so driving it very gently this week. Still...
Haven't seen any pics of my RB 182, If the weather was nice there probably would have been some as the bonnet would have been up and rs2 on display. I was parked 4th/5th row on the main section, seemed to sort it out later on but our rows were parked far too close.
Just thought I'd let people who may be local to Banbury that Jaybee motors have a yellow RS parked out the front, saw it yesterday driving past.
Got so say Even after seeing one today at CSS, I'm still not a fan. The rear end looks ok, I don't like the front and overall it is just too big for...
I will be attending with my RB 182ff with RS2 and Yozza full system!
Only picked the car up from James and Mike this evening at 7pm they did some amazing work from Wednesday afternoon to get replacement engine out of donor car, change all belts and dephaser, fit uprated engine mounts...

Well I will know later today if I'm traveling up with you guys or heading to Duxford from Staines.
My Clio is on the RR this afternoon for remap, all depends what time its finished. James and Mike really pulled the stops out to get the car ready, as of 4pm Wednesday The replacement engine was...

The phase 2's look great with 2118's and a slight drop, its the exact look I'm going for once my tires are finished. RB 182, anthracite 2118's and Cooksport springs
Well after the compression check everything took a turn for the worse :(
Mike/James took the rocker cover off to reseal and ended up finding this :dead:
At some point this engine has been run very low on oil that groove is 2mm deep! I bought the car on 83k on it and it now has 117k on...
