    Something daft as usual, the plan so far is a 200bhp valver probs with a 172/182 motor on throttle bodies. It must be at least as quick as the scoob or else. I've beat everything with the scoob around cadwell so nothing else to prove ( well mates wise)................ I've always liked...

    Re: Clio TT (172 cup) Sounds more like fuel surge than fuel pump problems, my Impreza suffered the same until i fitted an external pump and swirl pot.

    Looking good fella, Out of interest what sort of lap times are you doing around Cadwell? Just looking at swapping my track prepared Impreza for something else a little cheaper on fuel.... My best so far is about 1m 45s but 150-200 quid on fuel every trackday gets a bit tiresome!!!!!

    Even then you could be beyond the working range of the injectors, use the correctly mapped and matched injectors.

    They cause bore wash and are a bodge. The only correct way is a remap. Anyone that tells you different doesn't understand!

    Has anyone had similar? When changing from second to third gear at high revs (speedy change) i get a slight crunching sound, i believe this to be a worn 3rd gear syncro what do you guys reckon? It never does it under normal driving only when giving it beans...... The gearbox will not be...

    Std original equipment are better than all the aftermarket ones.

    Nothing you try will get it any closer. Usually you have to blend it into othe panels to get a seamless match.

    That comment was aimed at a rear brace, but i stand by the fact that very few (if any) would notice a front one on a std road car. As std the clio has a very good stiff shell and being so new its doubtful its gone weak. In the past ive had cars that once jacked up the doors wouldnt close, now...
