I think your wasting your time, he obviously is a business man rather than enthusiast. He doesnt understand (or care) how they work.
Once again for the dumb people these offer no advantage other than emptying your wallet.
On such a new car i would bet one wouldnt be noticable even on the front.
Its a known issue with performance pads, they create lots of dust.
If you are not very keen on cleaning your car this dust then eats into your wheels and paint.....
Judging by the pics posted, i fail to see how it would offer any benefit.
This would be due to the design of the brace and the fact that the car doesnt have struts at the rear......
The rear diagonal runs directly across the rear seat, ie from the main hoop above the drivers head to the passenger side rear turret area. AFAIK you can get the S/D one with a removable diagonal but what would be the point?
You will soon get bored of the climbing frame getting in the way, 6 point cages are more for protection than for stiffening up the car.
They are just too much of a compromise, if you want a true track car get a multi point and strip the car.
IMHO they are just dangerous in road cars especially...
No point in a road car, also check you can still get insurance as many companies will run a mile.
Plus they are not the best things to bang your head on should you have an accident, in motorsport you wear a helmet.
Oh and £1200 to supply and fit a cage is obscenely expensive!
Gap insurance is a right con, you wouldnt need it if they paid out the true value.
Always knock back there first offer and fight even if it takes months.

It was only in for a service :(
The dealer was forced to buy them a new car.
