Go to your local steel stock holder and ask for stainless steel dairy tube, it comes in various diameters and is relatively cheap and being stainless will not rust.
All integrales had torsen rear diffs , the Evo 1 and 2 had wider track than 8/16v.

Yes i do have the rally car but i set it up as per Pug sport reccomendations as they have done lots of R+D.

Oh ignore what they say when they service the car regarding wear because i doubt they have a clue, i replaced all my brakes before it went in and they still said they where 15% worn.
My guess is they will be very corroded on the inside face on the disc, i had to replace my discs at 24K miles even though there was lots of life left in them. For the cost of discs it was not worth skimming them.
Its easy to check by crawling underneath and having a butchers.

I have always used water soluble degreaser on cotton (K&N) and foam (Piper X) filters then washed it off with warm soapy water.
Leave to dry completely then re-oil.
It depends entirely on the size of tyres you had and now have fitted. To be sure you can compare the rolling radii on any of the online tyre computers.
its a gearbox out and rebuild so labour will be expensive.
ATB types do make a big difference i have one in my pug rally car.
It is temting to fit one in the clio in order to stop 2nd gear wheelspin in the wet but i reckon all in you would be looking at £2000-2500 fitted.
