    Finally KTEC do one!!!

Not being a pedant BUT, they also state on another page of there site that if you fit a 182 manifold you gain 5bhp !!!! so which is it 5bhp or 10-12bhp

    LSD Differential for cliosport

ATB types are much more civil for road use and also require no maintenance as per plate types. Plate types also put more strain on the driveshafts duie to there operation (shock loading). I do agree that for competition use a plate type does have more advantages though.

    LSD Differential for cliosport

I reckon you wouldnt be far off £2500-3000 once you've got labour, bearings, seals and gaskets. Thats unless of course you can magic it in!!!

    What Compensation?

Its a very good tactic they employ, you think they will offer you a good deal when in reality they dont. I was without my car for three months while the dealer fixed it and got £150 so i doubt you will get anything of any value. My advice would be to go elsewhere.

    Brake Kit!

I had nothing but poor service from them, a so-called 1 week delivery time went to 12 weeks. Only when I insisted I want my money back did they turn up, even then after many failed promises and numerous emails.

    Magnecor leads

Why bother? when std ones are perfectly good.

    Failed MOT

They can, its at the testers decression there is no limit. It must have been loud to fail though.

Prima Racing - WP Pro 310mm Big Brake Conversion on a 172 Cup, HOW GOOD?

4 pots wont make a difference, you need to go bigger.
  24. stu8v

Anyone got standard 172 and 182 bhp & torque figures?

FYI most rolling road figures are a good estimate at best +/- 5-10bhp, there are too many variables to compare exactly with a dyno cell reading of the manufacturer.

    Tightening Driveshaft nut

    Not for a short distance.
  26. stu8v

    Tightening Driveshaft nut

Too loose and you wont have the correct preload on the bearing, ie there will be slight play. Too tight and it will lead to premature wear. All the ones i've done have been done up fookin tight and i've never suffered a problem.
  27. stu8v

    Magnecor leads

OE = original equipment, ie Renault so no doubt made by Bosch or similar.
  28. stu8v

    Performance After Mods

You would be hard pushed to notice any difference IMHO as the benefit if any is marginal. I doubt most would notice 5-10bhp either way.
  29. stu8v

    Magnecor leads

Very expensive and the quality is not as good as OE ones, they have no upsides IMHO. Ignore the manufacturer marketing its hype, all the people i know of that bought them went back to OE after a few months as they broke down an caused misfiring.
