my current setup is Wilwoods with mintex1144s federal 595 rsr's and AST coilover kit and i love it, was able to outbrake my mate in his 197 on pretty much every corner, and once i was past him he was nowhere to be seen, iv also got a Witeline Arb but thinking of getting rid of it for the pure...
should always use copper slip on the mounting faces to stop them ceasing and it makes maintenance easier so you dont get stuck with little thinks like struggling to get the wheels off, little things that go a long way !
Thanks bud :), they seemed to be very good, i should have fiddled with the pressures a bit but forgot to take my gauge haha, the wet grip isnt great but i think that was because off all the rubber and oil on track
Been wanting to go for the last few years and only got round to it last week haha, it really is great its odd tho the weekends are packed but the weekdays its like a ghost town
So iv been making a bit of progress recently in how the cars coming on so i thought i would start a thread.
My main aim now is to get to as many track days as i can afford, iv just come back from the ring and i'm addicted.

AST variant 2 coilovers
AST Top mounts
Speedline 2118's...
i case of removing the top plate and taking the weight off of the coilover (jacking it up) ant then twisting the shock body?
or is there an easier way ?

depends what your looking for as a result, performance or just the pops and bangs, the map i got from them is brill car pulls allot harder than the jms map and throughout the whole rev range.
u said a long time ago have you seen the premiums that people have to now pay just to insure a 1.2 its ridiculous my insurance on my 1st car (1.2) was 1600 and half the people wont touch you without bending you over and slipping a fist up your ass. this was 3/4 years ago now and its gone up even...
In a 16 i much prefer the 205 to the 195,
but in a 15 im not sure as iv only tried a 195
in not after looks its function over looks for me so which one looks better doesn't bother me
Tyre price doesn't seem to be that big from a 195 to a 205 only £10 more for the tyres im looking at
